It’s Time to Pray!

Healing comes when the Church Prays,

United Prayer.
Acts 4:24 – Praying with one accord.

Let the Walls Come Down. Push

through, let go, remove the Barriers
between ourselves and God.
As a snowball starts its way down a snow covered
hill, it begins to grow in size. On its way down it
hits an obstacle (Rock, Trees). The impact causes
the snowball to divide, still going down but
separate. Each obstacle can divide causing more
separation, each possibly growing in size on their
way down. It comes to the point where all reach
rock bottom. At that point all power of movement is
lost it becomes ineffective and filled with debris
from the travel down.
The church losing sight of God and filled with Pride
and Self Will can find itself going downhill.
Divisions caused by wrong relationships, bad
teaching and many other things become obstacles to
one church, one body. It may seem to grow but
growth is unstable. A church can only go so far
before it reaches rock bottom and becomes
powerless, ineffective and no longer one. The debris
of its fall being the only remaining things. A church
filled with resentment, bitterness, unforgiveness and
rejection.
To start moving the
snowball up hill again, first it
is needed to clear the debris Romans 12:1-2
and then mould it together. Therefore, I urge you brothers, in view

As the snowball is moved up hill it grows in
size. As the church is lifted by God it too shall
grow. As the sun melts the snowball, water
flows onto the valley below giving freshness of
life. As the Lord Jesus Christ reigns in His
Church then the Living Water of the Holy
Spirit shall flow from His Church to the
unsaved and the land around.
On one side of a crevasse stands the church. On the
other side the lost, those not knowing God, those
not even realising they need God, but crying out for
help. The church in some way oblivious to the cries,
caught up in themselves and how they see things
and how they choose to help, not seeing the real
need and not meeting the real need.
People run away not so much from God but our
perspective of God, our failings, our unreality. Let
us take off our masks and become real to God, real
to each other and real to those outside in need and
crying out for help.
Towards the Lost
‘I Love them and I gave my Son to save them. I am
not far from any one of them. They could hear the
gospel message and respond, and their lives could
be changed. I want you to share my compassion and
reachout to them –
Not with cold professionalism, but with tender
mercy.’
We Have a Choice
OLD nature or NEW nature? The Struggle
Within
We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual,
sold as a slave to sin. I do not understand what I do. For
what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And
if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is
good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it , but it is
sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me,
that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do
what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is
not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to
do – this I keep on doing.
Romans 7:14 -19
Sound Familiar?
Jacob and Esau
Rebekah enquires of the Lord:
The babies jostled each other within her and she said, “Why is
this happening to me? So she went to enquire of the Lord.
The Lord said to her, “Two nations are in your womb, and two
peoples from within you will be separated; one people will be
stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger.”
Genesis 25:22-23

Even though God has redeemed you and made you His child,
you still have two natures within you wrestling for control.
What is the answer? The oldest (your flesh) must submit to
the youngest (your new nature).
Who will win?
The one you feed, protect, and develop
most!
For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see
another law at work in the members of my body, waging
war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner
of the law of sin at work within my members. What a
wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body
of death? Thanks be to God – through Jesus Christ our
Lord!
So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s
law; but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.
Romans 7:22-25
We ALL can go to the
Throne of Grace
with Confidence
Hebrews 4:14-
16
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone
through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly
to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is
unable to sympathise with our weaknesses, but we have one
who has been tempted in every way, just as we are – yet was
without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with
confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to
help us in our time of need.
An Expression of Love
God’s Promise in the Nails:
I Forgive You.
Between Jesus’ hand and the wood of the cross
there was a list. A long list. A list of our mistakes.
God has penned a list of our faults. The list he has
made, however, cannot be read. The words can’t be
deciphered. The mistakes are covered. The sins are
hidden. Those at the top are hidden by his hands;
Those down the list are covered by his blood. Your
sins are “Blotted Out” by Jesus.
I Really Love You
This is why Jesus refused to resist the nails. He saw
the list of your mistakes between his hand and the
wood of the cross! This warrant, this tabulation of
your failures. He knew the price of those sins was
death. He knew the source of those sins was you,
and since he couldn’t bear the thought of Eternity
without you.
He chose the nails.
(Max Lucado - He Did This Just For You)
He Forgave ALL Our Sins
Colossians 2:13-15
When you were dead in your sins and in the
uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you
alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having
cancelled the written code, with its regulations, that
was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took
it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed
the powers and authorities, he made a public
spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the
cross.
Should We Settle For Less?
Don Francisco once said...
Satan works overtime to keep Christians from
knowing who they are, and what they are capable
of. Every single born again Christian is capable of
the same things Jesus did and even greater things.
So many times we have been convinced to settle for
less.
The gifts and the calling of God is without
repentance. He has chosen you. He has chosen you
to go and bear fruit, that your fruit might remain,
eternal fruit.
The Great Commandment
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with
all your soul and with all your mind and with all
your strength.
With that
Love your neighbour as yourself.

Our bodies are like buildings. In that building are

many rooms. Some Clean and dusted. Some with
cobwebs and a layer of dust, but some are locked
where no one can enter. Our spirits long to be free,
but there is only one way out into the light and that
is through one door at the top of a flight of stairs. To
go through that door, the first step is a BIG step.

Let us not forget...

Jesus Calls Us
“Come to me, all you who are weary and
burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my
yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am
gentle and humble in heart, and you will
find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy
and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30
Find your rest in Him.
Come Into My Garden
Come in and allow Me to plant you deep in
the ground. That ground being of My
Love, Truth and Word.
I delight Myself in My
garden as I walk between
the lilies and watch as you
grow into beautiful flowers,
pure and white tendered by
My Loving hands, watered by
the Living Water of My
Spirit.
Like a blanket of snow in
winter, white and
gleaming in the sun light
so will those who
blossom in My garden,
ever shining ever giving
a fragrance worthy for
My Glory.
Stand firm in the ground I have planted you
for there are those who would form their
own gardens. The ground in which they grow
is an unstable ground, a ground of self and
pride. Watch also that you do not pull
yourselves out of My garden, but in all
situations and circumstances remain in the
ground of My Love, Truth and Word, giving
all to Me.
As a butterfly flies between
the flowers, receiving
nourishment from the flowers,
others shall come to you to
receive nourishment from you.
The fragrance of My Love, the
Light of My Truth and the
nourishment of My Word will
draw them.
Come into My garden, remain in
My Love, Truth and Word
where there is Peace evermore.
As the sun rises so does My love for you.
As the sun melts snow on a snow
covered hill, so My Son melts your heart,
from it coming freshness, life and power
through My Holy Spirit.

Draw near to Me and I shall draw near to

you.
James
4:8
As God looks down from the Heavens, He
seeks those He loves, not to remain distant
as the stars in the sky, but close, walking
side by side.

Jesus, looks down, seated at the right hand

of God, reminding us He triumphed, and His
authority and power is eternal. Through Him
we have that same, Given authority.
As an early morning mist covers the hills
taking away sharpness and clarity of sight,
so to those who seek Me, nothing is clear,
but all is there.
Although you see not clearly, I am there, for
I have said,
“I will never leave you or forsake you.”
And that, “I am Faithful.”
As the tips of the trees reach for
the sky, bathing in the sunlight,
raise your arms in surrender and
allow Jesus to bathe you in the
warmth of His light, bringing
growth as you live in His truth.

Reach out to God, and Outreach to

others.
