Even though God has redeemed you and made you His child,
you still have two natures within you wrestling for control.
What is the answer? The oldest (your flesh) must submit to
the youngest (your new nature).
Who will win?
The one you feed, protect, and develop
most!
For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see
another law at work in the members of my body, waging
war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner
of the law of sin at work within my members. What a
wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body
of death? Thanks be to God – through Jesus Christ our
Lord!
So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s
law; but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.
Romans 7:22-25
We ALL can go to the
Throne of Grace
with Confidence
Hebrews 4:14-
16
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone
through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly
to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is
unable to sympathise with our weaknesses, but we have one
who has been tempted in every way, just as we are – yet was
without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with
confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to
help us in our time of need.
An Expression of Love
God’s Promise in the Nails:
I Forgive You.
Between Jesus’ hand and the wood of the cross
there was a list. A long list. A list of our mistakes.
God has penned a list of our faults. The list he has
made, however, cannot be read. The words can’t be
deciphered. The mistakes are covered. The sins are
hidden. Those at the top are hidden by his hands;
Those down the list are covered by his blood. Your
sins are “Blotted Out” by Jesus.
I Really Love You
This is why Jesus refused to resist the nails. He saw
the list of your mistakes between his hand and the
wood of the cross! This warrant, this tabulation of
your failures. He knew the price of those sins was
death. He knew the source of those sins was you,
and since he couldn’t bear the thought of Eternity
without you.
He chose the nails.
(Max Lucado - He Did This Just For You)
He Forgave ALL Our Sins
Colossians 2:13-15
When you were dead in your sins and in the
uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you
alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having
cancelled the written code, with its regulations, that
was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took
it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed
the powers and authorities, he made a public
spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the
cross.
Should We Settle For Less?
Don Francisco once said...
Satan works overtime to keep Christians from
knowing who they are, and what they are capable
of. Every single born again Christian is capable of
the same things Jesus did and even greater things.
So many times we have been convinced to settle for
less.
The gifts and the calling of God is without
repentance. He has chosen you. He has chosen you
to go and bear fruit, that your fruit might remain,
eternal fruit.
The Great Commandment
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with
all your soul and with all your mind and with all
your strength.
With that
Love your neighbour as yourself.

these things will be given to you as well.
