Msculos del Pie. Atendiendo a su origen o insercin prximal se denominan intrnsecos y extrnsecos.
Son msculos intrnsecos aquellos que tienen origen y

terminacin (o insercin distal) en el mismo pi. Consiguen los movimientos de los dedos: flexin, extensin, abduccin y aduccin.

Son msculos extrnsecos encargados del movimiento de

tobillo y pie. Aunque estn en la pierna, ejercen su traccin tirando de las inserciones seas de tobillo y pie. Consiguen los movimientos de flexin dorsal, flexin plantar, inversin y eversin del pie. Se originan en los huesos de la pierna. (todos salvo el popliteo)

MUSCULOS DE LA PIERNA:
GRUPO ANTERIOR:

Anatoma MIOLOGA DEL PIE

TIBIAL ANTERIOR: va desde la tibia al borde externo del pie, su funcin es aducir y rotar internamente el pie. EXTENSOR PROPIO DEL DEDO GORDO: va desde el peron a la 2da. falange del dedo gordo, su accin es extender el dedo godo y flexionar el pie sobre la pierna rotando internamente. EXTENSOR COMUN DE LOS DEDOS: va desde la tibia y el peron hasta los ltimos cuatro dedos del pie, su accin es extender los dedos del pie y flexionar el pie sobre la pierna rotndolo externamente. PERONO ANTERIOR [Fibular Tercer Peroneo] : va de la cara anterior del peron a la base del 5 metatarsiano, es un msculo inconstante.

GRUPO EXTERNO/LATERAL:

PERONEO LATERAL CORTO: se extiende desde el peron al 5. metatarsiano y su funcin es abducir y rotar externamente el pie. PERONEO LATERAL LARGO: se extiende desde tibia y peron hasta el 1er. metatarsiano, su accin es extender y rotar externamente el pie y adems aumenta la concavidad plantar.

GRUPO POSTERIOR:
(Grupo Superficial) GASTROCNEMIO [Msculos Gemelos] * SLEO* PLANTAR [Plantar Delgado] * (Forman el Msculos Trceps Sural) (Grupo Profundo) POPLITEO: se inserta en cndilo externo y en la tibia y flexiona la pierna rotndola externamente. FLEXOR LARGO COMUN DE LOS DEDOS: va desde la tibia hasta la cara plantar de los ltimos cuatro dedos del pie, su funcin es flexionar los dedos y extender el pie inclinndolo hacia adentro. TIBIAL POSTERIOR: va de la tibia y peron hasta el borde interno del pie, su funcin es aducir y rotar internamente el pie.
