Vision:

ROSE promote human rights, social justice, good governance, peace and social harmony to create a just society.

Mission:

ROSE raises the voice of voiceless, poor segment of society including children, women, youth, disable and minority through social mobilization, service delivery advocacy and develops synergy in other peer organization to contribute in sustainable and just society. A society where people are living with peace, dignity, and equal opportunities of livelihood.

Objectives:

To support and develop replicable models of and strategies for sustainable human resource development through skills development initiatives; To network and collaborate with the govt. departments, NGO's, CBO's, WOs and inter-national agencies for sustainable development. Support initiatives for sustainable community based, gender sensitive development with particular focus on; drinking water supply, environmental sanitation, education, agriculture, health n nutrition and livelihood. To create economic and recreational opportunities for youth through skill enhancement programs for peace promotion. To encourage, build and strengthen the technical and management capacity of development organizations (CBOs, NGOs, and government line departments) to ensure sustainability of development initiatives. To create linkages between different stakeholders including development organizations (private and public) for sustainable development.

To get education and to produce literate citizens goes in favor of mankind as it creates all kind of awareness among them. Literacy is one of the rural causes of increasing poverty all over the global. To make aware and to convince the masses to admit the responsibility of the facts that todays unsuitable environmental condition is just because of the mankind. For example global warming and huge buildings are the cause of floods, rains and tremors. To make them aware of reducing and taking preventive and counter measures to reduce and check such fatal situation To improve maternal health To reduce child mortality rate To combat HIV aids malaria and other diseases

We have been providing different kind of services to the poor community since 2006 during the different difficult situations. With the support of WFP (PEACE) a base line survey for its Food Distribution project has been conducted in December 2010 which would provide a base to WFP (PEACE) to start its F.I interventions in the area in collaboration with government and civil society. The survey have been completed and now in the process of data punching.

Computer literacy and vocational centers were also established in U/C Rashakai district Nowshera. Provided relief to the flood affected community by distributing relief items like food and non food items among 2000 families.

As in August 2009 due to armed conflict a huge population was displaced from their home towns, they migrated towards Peshawar. So all the organizations concentrated their attention on providing relief to these vulnerable people. We also did our part by distributing hygiene kits, food and non food items, and clothes among 500 families at Benazir Complex Risalpur and U/C Rashakai hamlet Khora Abad district Nowshera on self help basis. Besides this initial relief free medical camps were also carried out along with the vocational trainings at Khora Abad for IDPs women to empower them to reduce the economic burden.

On Eid day September 11 2010 ROSE in collaboration with other Local Organization distributed stitched clothes of males, females and kids to 350 families. The package also included Eidi and special gifts packs for the flood affected kids of UC Rashakai, Nowshera Kalan, Kabul River of District Nowshera. PRDP raised some funds through its youth network and major chunk of the funds utilized in Districts Nowshera by providing them ration, drinking water and clothes. PRDP also arranged a medical camp in UC Rashakai where more than 500 patients were consulted by the male and lady doctor and free medicines were provided to them.

ROSE supported a Government school in UC Rashakai by providing it books and a Public Library for students and youth.
