I have played millions of poker hands online and have traveled around the world playing poker and meeting poker players from all walks of life including amateurs to wealthy businessman's. I have also trained hundreds of players come up to speed by providing high quality poker courses and tutorials. I am proficient in these forms of poker Limit Hold'em, No Limit Hold'em, Tournament Poker, PLO and am a regular at blinds 5/10 USD to occasional 10/20 USD.
I am a Computer Science graduate from a prestigious university and started my career in IT. I had a plush job on Wall Street but the love of an adrenaline filled life pulled me into poker. There have been a lot of ups and downs in my poker career but till date I have risen higher out of each lows. Poker has opened doors in my life and avenues that a cubicle job could never provide me. I am intent on sharing all my knowledge with my students to help them come up to speed and kick the cubicle like me and enjoy a high flying adventurous and adrenaline filled life, rather than a boring, mundane and cagey life of a cubicle worker.
All of my books (poker courses actually) are now going to be priced way above the normal rates and into double digits for the following reasons.
1. Any struggling player who is having trouble maintaining his bankroll and going bust should read my books and follow my advice to generate profits consistently. Yes it is possible, by being innovative and not following the general poker theory as proposed by widely read authors like Brunson, Greenstein, Hellmuth or Gus Hansen, because for one your strategies of a nit and TAG approach are highly exploitable by intelligent adjusting players and secondly when everyone is following the same strategies than Nash equilibrium is reached and the only one making money is the casino and the dealers. The same principle highly espoused in Schmidt's book.
2. I have struggled like a lot of players starting out on Poker and have risen from playing 1/2 cent games to crushing the games at $5/$10 stakes, I have played Freerolls and turned it into over a hundred dollar in just a day, if you try to attempt this you will understand who extremely difficult and nearly impossible this is. In my books I detail how any player can build bankrolls out of thin air and how by winning satellites like the moneymaker anyone could win a bracelet and the trunks of cash that come along with it.
3. Most winning players do not write books instead they are busy grinding at at the stakes, and very few who do teach their trade like on 2+2 sell their courses upwards of thousands of dollars. And you would notice those courses to sell like hot cakes enough that with the best pros there is a waiting line of players waiting for their slots. And many have their calendars full up to several months in advance. The trouble with poker is that most players do not understand the depth of the game, the number of levels that two extremely good opponents can go in while playing a game of high stakes poker will elude at least 99% of the amateurs. Yet there are amateurs who will keep donating thousands of dollars to the game every year and still consider themselves to be world class players and not wanting to spend even a couple of hundred dollars for the betterment of their game so that at least they become break even.
4. Most old school pros who wrote famous poker books adored by millions of fans have become outdated and the strategies espoused have reached nash equlibrium even at live $5/$10 stakes comparable to NL100. For example most players use position too much and end up having this as a leak in both cash and tournaments, if they do detailed database analysis they will learn this leak, most players again haven't done any HM2 database analysis and haven't played sufficient hands for it to be worthwhile and will remain losing players with one pair and two pair. In several of my books I make the readers understand the importance of balancing the game and doing leak analysis and in a nutshell tell them what they can do to bring their game close to perfection. Because not everyone has the time or energies to do this and have their own business to tend do and play for leisure and not as a profession, hence for these players I open the doors to learn very quickly the secrets to balance their game. If you read the blog by Galfond you will understand that a balanced game is extremely essential in today's tough poker scene to succeed considering the ever narrowing edges.
Currently I am planning to update my website and get it in line with all the changes that have been happening of late and hence may be unavailable.lihat lebih sedikit
