In addition to being the long-standing Prairies Region VP of the Crime Writers of Canada, Jayne is the woman behind Mystery Ink, Calgary Crime Writers and most shenanigans going down at any given time in the local crime writing scene. She is the winner of the Saskatchewan Writers Guild Award and the 2011 Bony Pete for Best Short Story. Her mystery manuscript, When the Bow Breaks, was shortlisted for both the Unhanged Arthur in Canada and the Debut Dagger in the UK.
