A highly experienced helicopter pilot he has flown in the British Army, in oil exploration in mountains and offshore, and a variety of other helicopter roles, including air ambulance. An aviation consultant for 18 years, he has travelled extensively around the world, but has now turned his hand to writing using his travels as background.
He has written and edited numerous technical documents and manuals and started two previous novels which were dropped for various reasons.
