Sebaik dan seteliti apapun seseorang menggunakan printer, lama kelamaan pasti akan mengalami
kerusakan atau error, Hal ini pernah saya alami saat saya lagi baru masuk prakerin disebuah toko yang
melayani service printer, untung saja ada si bos yang mengajari saya cara reset printer canon MP237,
sebelum memasuki topik persiapkan terlebih dahulu persyaratannya yaitu sobat harus mempunyai
software resetter-nya, kalo belum punya silahkan Download Disini

Nama software untuk reset printer canon MP237 adalah
Canon Resetter Service Tool V3400, software ini tidak
hanya dapat digunakan untuk reset printer canon
MP237 tetapi bisa digunakan untuk reset pinter
canon MG5270,MP258, MP287, MP278, MP237 dan IP
2770.
Nah sekarang kita memasuki topik, untuk mengatasi
masalah seperti error E08 pada printer yang telah saya sebutkan di atas, sobat bisa baca uraian
dibawah ini :
1. Hidupkan printer terlebih dahulu, pada layar monior akan muncul error E08, dan ada keterangan"The
Ink Absorber is Almost Full"
2. Jadikan Printer dalam keadaan Service Mode, Caranya berikut ini :
Matikan printer yang error E08 dengan menekan tombol power, (pastikan kabel power printer masih
menempel pada printer)
Tekan tombol RESET yang di ikuti dengan menekan tombol POWER, (kedua tombol dalam keadaan
tertekan).
Kemuadian lepas tombol RESET tapi jangan lepas tombol POWER.
dalam keadaan tombol POWER tertekan tombol RESET sebanyak 6X .
lalu lepaskan kedua tombol bersamaan
Monitor komputer sobat akan mengalami blank/gelap dan komputer sobat akan mendeteksi device
baru (bisa diabaikan)
Cara menjalankan Canon Resetter Service Tool V3400
Pasang kertas terlebih dahulu
Jalankan software Canon Resetter Service Tool V3400
Di menu "absorber clear ink counter" pilih "MAIN" lalu klik set disebelah kanannya
Di menu "ink absorbe counter" pilih "MAIN" lalu klik set disebelah kanannya
Kemudian klik "EEPROM" maka printer akan malakukan cetak 1 kali
Selesai, Silahkan Dicoba.

codes and possible solution. Applicable for Canon Pixma Inkjet Printer IP and MP Series.
These error codes mean machine problems. In many cases, the machine will require
service.
Canon Pixma Error Codes are indicated by the number of cycles of Alarm and Power LEDs
blink, and the corresponding error code with the message
Printer error has occurred. Turn off power then back on again. If problem persists, see the
manual. is displayed on the LCD.
Carriage error or Error Code 5100
Condition: An error occurred in the carriage encoder signal.
Problems and Solutions:
Smearing or scratches on the carriage slit film
- clean the timing slit film.
Foreign material or paper debris that obstructs the carriage movement;
- remove foreign material.
Ink tank conditions;
- re-seat the ink tanks.
If other solution fail, replace one off the following
- Timing slit disk film
- Carriage unit
- Logic board
- Carriage motor
Line Feed error or Error Code 6000
Condition: An error occurred in the LF encoder signal.
Problems and Solutions:
Smearing or scratches on the LF / EJ slit film
- clean the LF / EJ slit film.
Foreign material or paper debris in the LF drive;
- remove foreign material.
If other solution fail, replace one off the following
- LF / EJ slit film
- LF / EJ timing sensor unit
- Paper feed roller unit
- Logic board
- Paper feed motor
Purge cam sensor error or Error Code 5C00
Condition: An error occurred in the purge unit.
Problems and Solutions:
Foreign material or paper debris around the purge drive system unit;
- remove foreign material.
If other solution fail, replace one off the following
- Purge drive system unit
- Logic board
ASF sensor error or Error Code 5700
Condition: An error occurred in the ASF cam sensor.
Problems and Solutions:
Replace one of the following:
- ASF unit
- PE sensor board unit
- Logic board
Internal temperature error or Error Code 5400
Condition: The internal temperature is not normal.
Problems and Solutions:
Replace one of the following:
- Carriage unit
- Logic board
- Print head
Ink absorber is full or Error Code 5B00, 5B01
Condition: The ink absorber is supposed to be full. Message on the Monitor screen or
printer LCD: Ink absorber full. Service required.
Problems and Solutions:
Ink absorber is full or waste pad inside the printer is almost full
- Replace printers Ink absorber pad and reset the ink absorber counter value in the
EEPROM.
Print head temperature rise error or Error Code 5200
Condition: The print head temperature exceeded the specified value.
Problems and Solutions:
Turn off the printer and then turn on if error still persist replace Ink cartridge or print head
EEPROM error or Error Code 6800, 6801
Condition: A problem occurred in reading from or writing to the EEPROM.
Problems and Solutions:
Replace logic board
VH monitor error or Error Code B200
Condition: The print head voltage is abnormal.
Problems and Solutions:
Replace Print head and logic board (Replace them at the same time.)
Replace Power supply unit
Check and Clean Head contact pin condition of the carriage unit
Check Cable connection especially the carriage FFC
Carriage lift mechanism error or Error Code 5110
Condition: The carriage did not move up or down properly.
Problems and Solutions:
Foreign material or paper debris that obstructs the carriage movement
- remove foreign material.
Consider replacing:
- Switch system unit
- Carriage unit
APP position error or Error Code 6A80
Condition: An error occurred in the APP motor.
Problems and Solutions:
Check for foreign material or paper debris around the purge drive system unit
- remove foreign material.
Check for foreign material or paper debris around the ASF unit
- remove foreign material.
If other solution fail, replace one off the following part
- Purge drive system unit
- Logic board
APP sensor error or Error Code 6A90
Condition: An error occurred during paper feeding or purging.
Problems and Solutions:
check for foreign material or paper debris around the purge drive system unit;
- remove foreign material.
check for foreign material or paper debris around the ASF unit;
- remove foreign material.
If other solution fail, replace one off the following part
- Purge drive system unit
- Logic board
Paper feed cam sensor error or Error Code 6B10
Condition: An error occurred in the paper feed cam sensor during paper feeding from the
cassette, or the paper absorbing a large amount of ink jammed in the PF rear guide.
Problems and Solutions:
Jammed paper in the PF rear guide (when a large amount of ink was absorbed in the
paper);
- remove the jammed paper and foreign material.
check for foreign material or paper debris in the cassette or in the PF rear guide;
- remove foreign material.
If other solution fail, replace one off the following part
- PF pick-up unit
- Logic board
USB Host VBUS overcurrent or Error Code 9000
Condition: The USB Host VBUS is overloaded.
Problems and Solutions:
Replace Logic board
Pump roller sensor error or Error Code 5C20
Condition: The pump roller position cannot be detected.
Problems and Solutions:
Replace Purge drive system unit
Ink tank position sensor error or Error Code 6502
Condition: None of the ink tank position is detected.
Problems and Solutions:
check Ink tank position
Re-seat or replacement of ink tanks
Replace parts
- Spur unit
- Logic board
Flatbed motor error or Error Code 5012
Condition: An error occurred in the scanner flatbed motor.
Problems and Solutions:
replace Scanner unit
Valve cam sensor error or Error Code 6C10
Condition: The valve cam sensor was faulty at power-on or when purging was attempted.
Problems and Solutions:
check for foreign material or paper debris around the purge drive system unit;

Cara Memperbaiki Error E08 pada printer Canon MP
237

Kemarin salah seorang Pelanggan Kami baru membeli Printer dengan merek dan
tipenya adalah Canon Pixma MP 237, berarti sudah saatnya Saya menuliskan di
blog ini cara untuk perawatan dan perbaikannya, supaya nanti di kemudian hari
apabila terjadi error E08 pada printer tersebut, pelanggan kami bisa membacanya
disini. langsung saja ya, cara mengatasi Error E08 pada printer Canon MP 237
adalah sebagai berikut :


Berikut adalah cara mengatasi Error E08 pada printer Canon MP 237

1. Hidupkan Printer, maka di panel LCD akan muncul error E08, dan ada
keterangan "The Ink Absorber is Almost Full" pada layar monitor.
2. Download Resetter Canon Service Tool v3400 disini atau bisa juga di
link yang ada diakhir tulisan ini.
3. Printer harus dalam keadaan Service Mode. Caranya berikut ini
4. Matikan Printer yang error E08 dengan menekan tombol POWER.
Jangan cabut kabel power.
5. Tekan dan Tahan tombol STOP/RESET diikuti dengan menekan Tombol
POWER. Jadi kedua tombol posisi tertekan.
6. Lepas tombol STOP/RESET tapi jangan lepas tombol POWER.
7. Dalam keadaan tombol POWER masih tertekan, tekan tombol
STOP/RESET sebanyak 6 kali.
8. Kemudian lepaskan kedua tombol bersamaan. Maka Printer akan
berada dalam kondisi Service Mode.
9. Dan di komputer Anda akan mendeteksi hardware baru. Abaikan saja.
10. Langkah selanjutnya Exctract dan Jalankan Service Tool v3400 yang
sobat download tadi.
11. Di menu absorber clear ink counter pilih Main kemudian klik SET di
sebelah kanannya.
12. Di menu ink absorber counter pilih Main kemudian klik SET di sebelah
kanannya.
13. Kemudian klik EEPROM. maka printer akan cetak 1 halaman.
14. Selesai dan Printer Canon akan normal kembali.

Kode Error Printer Canon MP 237, Canon MP 237 jika mengalami kesalahan maka akan
diberitahu dengan lampu alarm LED bekedip/blinking orange dan menampilkan kode error
printer di LCD monitor Komputer sehingga Printer Canon MP 237 tidak dapat mencetak
data.

Kode Error Canon MP 237 biasa muncul dengan angka seperti 1300, 5011, 5100 dan
menyebabkan printer Canon MP 237 tidak dapat mencetak data. Kode Error Canon MP 237
biasanya disebabkan karena Paper Jammed, Printer is out of paper, The FINE cartridge
cannot be recognized dan masih banyak lagi.

Berikut ini Kode Error Canon MP 237 dan Cara Mengatasi Kesalahan dengan Kode
Error Canon MP 237 :
1. Error 1000 Canon MP 237 : Printer is out of paper / paper does not feed, Ditandai
dengan blinking 2x pada Canon MP 237 dan untuk mengatasinya masukkan kertas ke
bagian rear tray kemudian tekan tombol Hitam/warna pada Printer
2. Error 1300 Canon MP 237 : Paper Jammed, ditandai dengan blinking 3x pada Canon
MP 237 dan cara mengatasinya ambil kertas yang menyangkut pada printer.
3. Error 1687 Canon MP 237 : The FINE Cartridge is not installed properly, ditandai
blinking 4x pada Printer canon MP 237 dan cara mengatasinya, pastikan
pemasangan cartridge sudah benar dan mengunci cartridge.
4. Error 1401, 1403, 1485 Canon MP 237 : The FINE Cartridge is not installed
properly,disertai blinking 5x dan cara mengatasinya adalah pasang cartridge dengan
benar jika masih terjadi ganti cartridge dengan yang baru.
5. Error 1486, 1487 Canon MP 237 : FINE Cartridge is not installed in the correct
position,disertai dengan blinking 7x dan cara mengatasinya adalah pastikan
pemasangan cartridge sudah benar jika masih terjadi coba ganti dengan cartridge
baru.
6. Error 1700 Canon MP 237 : Ink absorber is almost full, disertai blinking 8x dan cara
mengatasinya adalah lakukanlah head cleaning pada printer Canon MP 237.
7. Error 1686 Canon MP 237 : The remaining ink level cannot be detected, disertai
blinking 13x karena printer tidak bisa mendeteksi level tinta, tekan tombol stop/reset
selama 5 detik untuk mengabaikan error.
8. Error 1684 Canon MP 237 : The FINE cartridge cannot be recognized, disertai
blinking 14x karena cartridge tidak terpasang dengan benar atau cartridge tidak
kompatibel dengan printer, ganti cartridge denga yang baru.
9. Error 1682 Canon MP 237 : The FINE cartridge cannot be recognized, disertai
blinking 15x dan cara mengatasinya adalah ganti dengan cartridge baru karena
catridge lama sudah rusak.
10. Error 1688 Canon MP 237 : The ink has run out, disertai dengan blinking 16x dan
cara mengatasinya tekan tombol stop/reset selama 5 detik.
11. Error 5100 Canon MP 237 : Paper Jammed disertai blinking 2x dan cara
mengatasinya bersihkan kertas menyangkut pada printer.
12. Error B200 Canon MP 237 : Blinking 10x, Matikan Printer kemudian cabut kabel
power yang menyambung ke listrik selama beberapa menit kemudian pasang dan
nyalakan kembali.
Beberapa Kode error pada printer canon MP 237 antara lain 5011, 5012, 5200, 5400,
5700, 6000, 6800, 6801, 5B00, 6930, 6931, 6932, 6933, 6936, 6937, 6938, 6940, 6941,
6942, 6943, 6944, 6945, 6946 dan cara mengatasinya adalah dengan mencabut kabel
power printer yang menyambung ke listrik selama beberapa menit kemudian nyalakan
kembali, Jika masalah masih belum teratasi silahkan membawa printer tersebut ke Service
Center Canon.
