PERMOHONAN UNTUK MEMOHON SUMBANGAN KEWANGAN BAGI PESTA KEBUDAYAAN
PEKAN NANAS DI NO 199 LORONG A-4
Merujuk perkara di atas, Persatuan Kebudayaan Pekan Nanas ( PKPN) akan mengadakan pesta kebudayaan
yang berhasrat untuk:
a. Memupuk kesedaran penduduk Pekan Nanas terhadap sejarah, pembanguan dan kehidupan penduduk
Pekan Nanas ketika 50~60-an.
b. Menyatupadukan dan membangkit perasaan menyayangi kampung sendiri di kalangan golongan
pemuda dalam masa yang sama mengadakan platform untuk penduduk Pekan Nanas yang berbakat
supaya ada peluang untuk menunjukkan bakat mereka kepada orang ramai.
2. PKPN merupakan persatuan non-profit yang tidak mempunyai sumber pendapatan yang kekal. Dengan ini,
kami berharap pihak tuan dapat menyumbang serba sikit sumbangan (wang tunai atau pun sumber sumber yang
sesuai) kepada persatuan kami.Sumbangan tuan boleh melalui:
i. Akaun Public Bank persatuan kami

ii. Menyerahkan sumbangan pihak tuan kepada wakil persatuan kami. Kami akan mengeluarkan resit
penerimaan yang rasmi kepada pihak tuan bagi setiap penerimaan.
3. Dengan ini, kami juga menjemput pihak tuan untuk menghadiri ke pesta kebudayaan kami pada Mac 2016.
Dana sumbangan itu akan digunakan secara berhemah dan untuk tujuan yang murni.

Refer to the above statement, we would like to request your kind sponsorship for the event, << Pekan Nanas
LIVE>> when will be held on the 19-20 March 2016 at Lorong A-4, Pekan Nanas.
2. The main objectives of the event are to let the Pekan Nanas residents to learn about the history of
our/ their own place and know about some special skills people at this area.
3. The activities during these two days event are including
a. The history of Pekan Nanas - back in 1950s to 1970 (those time when Pekan Nanas was formed)
b. Live band by local residents
c. Childhood's games
d. Stalls selling unique handmade pottery, handmade food, handmade soap, seagrass planted in the
bottle
4. Through the event, there will be a lot of interactions among people, such as people being interviewed(history
contributors) by the organizing committees, sponsors, visitors during the 2 days event. Could you imagine how
warm the atmosphere will be when the father shows his beloved son how to play with the insect? ( is not
suitable in format letter ). He will then tell him that that was his favourite game during his childhood. (
5. There will be a huge impact among the Pekan Nanas residents after the 1st << Pekan Nanas LIVE>>
as there will be a huge trend that people(age group 30 to 50) miss their time back in 1970-1980s, those were the
fun loving time when neighbourhood were closer through childhood games , classic furniture, restricted village
during British colonial period. All of these is in one's memory, how fortunate it could be when he could flash
back together with those he knows through an event like this. A lot of people may even want to organize a 'classmate/school-mate 'gathering during the 2 days event. They might want this event to be held as a yearly basis!

5. The << Pekan Nanas LIVE>> is a very beneficial event which will enrich knowledge, boost the
economy, flash back one's memory, enrich the relationship between generations. Pekan Nanas is the only
restricted village during British colonial period in the whole of Pontian district and we are the 2nd largest

retricted village in Malaysia too. Pekan Nanas is unique and we neglected its value for long. PKPN who is
willing to sacrifice their valuable time for their beloved Pekan Nanas! We really care for your monetary support
for event success.
