Definisi Tower Crane

Tower Crane merupakan Sebuah alat berat bangunan yang

digunakan untuk mengangkat benda/material yang umumya
tidak dapat diangkat oleh manusia, secara vertikal ataupun
horisontal ke tempat yang tinggi dengan ruang gerak yang t
erbatas.

Bagian bagian Tower Crane

Jib : lengan panjang yang dapat berputar 360 derajat,
secara horisontal (lihat gambar)
Ruang Operator : Tempat pengendali/ Kontrol tower crane,
dikendalikan oleh operator(manusia)
Tiang Menara : Bagian Vertikal tower crane sebagai tiang crane,
dibagian tengah tiang terdapat tangga untuk tempat naik operator
Pemberat Penyeimbang : Untuk menyeimbangkan lengan crane (jib)
ketika mengangkat beban
Pondasi : Sebagai bantalan dan penyangga tiang supaya tidak roboh
