.50 AM LEARNING AREA : CHAPTER 12: SOLID GEOMETRY II LEARNING OBJECTIVE: 12.2 Understand the concept of nets. LEARNING OUTCOMES: At the end of the lesson, students will be able to: i) Draw nets for prisms, pyramids, cylinders and cones. ii) State the types of solids given their nets. iii) Construct models of solids given their nets. LEARNING ACTIVITIES: 1. Induction set teacher uses examples of tracing papers to explain the concept of nets. 2. Teacher explains how to solve problems involving simple examples of the topic. 3. Teacher gives 3 guided example questions and students solve 4 questions on board 4. Teacher recites the lesson and gives homework on page 105 M.VALUE : Perfect TST: Solving problems T.AIDS : textbook, chalk REFLECTION: 19/21 students are able to give correct answers for all 3 questions verbally and 4 questions given on the board about the concept of nets. SUBJECT: MATHEMATICS FORM: PERALIHAN A TIME: 10.30 11.10 AM LEARNING AREA : LUAS & PERIMETER LEARNING OBJECTIVE: Memastikan pelajar-pelajar memahami konsep luas dan perimeter serta mempraktikkannya dalam amalan kehidupan. LEARNING OUTCOMES: Pada akhir pembelajaran, pelajar dapat: (i) Memahami konsep luas dan perimeter bagi segi empat dan memahami lebih lanjut berkenaan cara untuk mengiranya (ii) Menguasai soalan pada peringkat aras tinggi bagi topik tersebut. LEARNING ACTIVITIES: 1. Set Induksi guru menggunakan contoh seharian dalam menyampaikan maksud topik yang dipelajari diatas. 2. Pelajar menjelaskan makna setiap jenis pecahan dan menunjukkan beberapa contoh soalan. 3. Guru meminta pelajar mencatat ke dalam buku nota. 4. Guru menunjukkan kaedah tertentu dan amat mudah bagi memberi kefahaman kepada guru. Nilai moral: Sempurna & Menyelesaikan Masalah Bantuan Pengajaran: buku, kapur REFLECTION: 30/32 pelajar dapat memberikan jawapan tepat bagi 4 soalan lisan dan 5 soalan bertulis di papan hitam berkenaan luas dan perimeter SUBJECT: PHYSICS FORM: 4 ARIF TIME: 12.55 2.05 NOON LEARNING AREA : CHAPTER 5; LIGHT LEARNING OBJECTIVES: 5.3 Understanding total internal reflection of light LEARNING OUTCOMES: Students should be able to: i) explain total internal reflection of light. ii)define critical angle (c). iii)relate the critical angle to the refractive index i.e. n = 1/sin(c) LEARNING ACTIVITIES: Induction set teacher uses examples of everyday situations to explain total internal reflection. 1) Teacher asks students a few questions related to the video. 2) Teacher goes through the Power point slides. 3) Teacher explains the information to the students. 4) Teacher presents students with several guided questions related to the topic. 5) Students writes down the information in the note books and asks teacher if they do not understand 6) Teacher ends the lesson by summarizing the whole lesson. REFLECTION: 27/34 students are able to give correct answers for all 4 questions verbally and 5 questions given on the board about the concept of internal refraction.
