This research aim to determine how much influences of teaching motivation and
achievement index on university students teaching readiness, conducted at May
2014. This study uses a survey method with the correlalitional approach. In this
research, the population is 249 university student of Economic Education
Programme, Economic and Administration, Majors, Faculty Of Economics, State
University of Jakarta, and then 124 univercity students is the population sampled.
Result of data analysis technique as follows : all variables on this study have normal
distribution and satisfy the assumption of linearity. Optained multiple regression
equation : = 5,660 + 0,832X1 + 17,632X2. Test of regression coefficients
simultaneously using ANOVA tables. This show a significant and influential
regression simultaneously, test of partial correlation using correlation tables. Test of
variable X1 get tcount = 7,130 and tcritical = 1,984. This indicated variable X1 in
influence of variable Y. Test of variable X1 get tcount = 5,623 and tcritical = 1,984. This
indicated variable X2 in influence of variable Y. Test yield coefficients of
determination R2 = 0.441. this indicated that 44,1 % of variabel Y influenced
variables X1 and X2. Regression model in this study free of oberrations of classical
assumption, namely the absence of symptoms of multicollineraty, heterscedasticity
and autocorrelation. Based on this research can be drawn the consclution that there
is the influences of teaching motivation and achievement index on the readdines of
theaching.
Model regresi dalam penelitian ini terbebad sari penyimpangan asumsi klasik yaitu
tidak adanya gejala multikolineritas, heteroskedastisitas dan autokorelasi.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara
motivasi mengajar dan indeks prestasi terhadap kesiapan mengajar mahasiswa.
