ABSTRAK

HUBUNGAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN DAN STATUS GIZI DENGAN PRESTASI


BELAJAR MAHASISWA FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN
UNIVERSITAS HALU OLEO

Prestasi belajar adalah suatu hasil yang dicapai dengan mengukur kemampuan seseorang
dalam penguasaan pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Kualitas prestasi belajar dipengaruhi
oleh beberapa faktor antara lain kadar hemoglobin dan status gizi seseorang. Tujuan
penelitian ini mengetahui hubungan kadar hemoglobin dan status gizi terhadap prestasi
belajar mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Halu Oleo.

Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan studi analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional.
Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Halu Oleo
angkatan 2013. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 81 responden yang diperoleh dengan simple
random sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuisioner karakteristik responden.
Kadar hemoglobin diperoleh dari pemeriksaan darah vena dengan alat hematologi
analizer. Status gizi diperoleh dari hasil pengukuran IMT. Prestasi belajar diperoleh dari
nilai indeks prestasi kumulatif responden selama empat semester serta dianalisis
menggunakan uji statistik chi-square dan uji alternatif fisher.

Responden dengan kadar Hemoglobin normal 76,5% dan rendah 23,5%. Responden
dengan status gizi normal 67,9% dan status gizi tidak normal 27,1%. Responden
dengan prestasi belajar cukup 40,7% dan kurang 59,3% . Tidak terdapat hubungan kadar
hemoglobin dengan prestasi belajar (p>=0,05). Terdapat hubungan status gizi dengan
prestasi belajar (p<=0,05).

Simpulan, Prestasi belajar mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Halu Oleo


dengan kategori cukup sebesar 40,7% dan kurang sebesar 59,3%. Tidak terdapat
hubungan antara kadar Hemoglobin dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa Fakultas
Kedokteran universitas Halu Oleo. Terdapat hubungan antara status gizi dengan prestasi
belajar mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran universitas Halu Oleo

ABSTRACT

THE ASSOCIATION OF HEMOGLOBIN RATE AND NUTRITIONAL STATUS


WITH LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT OF STUDENTS OF MEDICAL FACULTY
HALU OLEO UNIVERSITY

Learning achievement is a result that achieved with the measurement of a person's


ability in of knowledge and status The quality of learning achievment be associated by
several factors such as hemoglobin rate and nutritional status. The purpose of this
research was to discover the association of hemoglobin rate and nutritional status. The
quality of learning achievement associated by hemoglobin rate and nutritional status with
learning achievment students of Medical Faculty Halu Oleo University.

The method of these research was analytic research with cross sectional design. The
population of this research were students class 2013 of the Medical Faculty Halu Oleo
University. The samples were 81 respondents who obtained by simple random sampling.
Data retrieval using questionnaires characteristics of respondents. The hemoglobin rate
is obtained from venous blood with hematology analyzer. The nutritional status is
obtained by respondent BMI. The learning achievment is obtained by the value of grade
point average during the four semesters then check statistically data were analyzed by
using the Chi-square test and fisher test.

The respondents show that hemoglobin rate in normal 76,5% and low 23,5%. The
normal nutritional status 67,9% and abnormal nutritional status 27,1%. The respondents
who had enough learning achievment 40,7% and less 59,3%. There werent association
of hemoglobin rate and learning achievment (p>=0,05). There were association of
nutritional status and learning achievment(p<=0,05).

Conclusion, The respondents who has enough learning achievment 40,7% and less
59,3%. There was not association of hemoglobin rate and learning achievment students
of Medical Faculty Halu Oleo University. There was association of nutritional status and
learning achievment students of Medical Faculty Halu Oleo University.
