pepper seed growth can be accelerated by giving ZPT gibberellin. Bamboo Shoots Betung contains ZPT
gibberellins. This study aims to determine the effect and the best dosage betung bamboo shoots extract
to the growth of the pepper varieties Lampung Daun Lebar (LDL). This research has been conducted in
the faculty of Agriculture of the experimental garden, Fisheries and Biology, University of of Bangka
Belitung from August to October 2016. The study using randomized block design group with 6 levels such
as: control, 20 ml, 30 ml, 40 ml, 50 ml, and 60 ml. Data analysis used to a level of 95%, if there is a real
effect, will be forwarded a further test Dancun Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results showed that
giving extracts of bamboo shoots can increase the number of segments and the best results are on a
dose of 50 ml, but no significant difference in treatment dose of 60 ml.

ABTRASK

Pertumbuhan bibit lada dapat dipercepat dengan pemberian ZPT giberelin. Rebung bambu betung
mengandung ZPT giberelin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan dosis terbaik
ektrak rebung bambu betung terhadap pertumbuhan lada varietas Lampung Daun Lebar (LDL).
Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan fakultas Pertaniaan, Perikanan, dan Biologi
Universitas Bangka Belitung pada bulan Agustus sampai oktober 2016. Penelitian menggunakan
rancangan acak kelompok dengan 6 taraf yaitu : kontrol, 20 ml, 30 ml, 40 ml, 50 ml, dan 60 ml . Analisis
data menggunakan uji dengan taraf kepercayaan 95%, apabila terdapat pengaruh nyata dilakukan uji
lanjut Dancun Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian ektrak
rebung bambu dapat meningkatkan jumlah ruas dan hasil terbaik terdapat pada dosis 50 ml, namun
tidak berbeda nyata pada perlakuan dosis 60 ml.
