adalah Pakistan dan Afganistan.

5. Bentang alam : Bentang alam Cina dapat dibagi menjadi dua yaitu Cina utara yang
wilayahnya relative datar dan tanahnya berdebu, dan Cina selatan yang reliefnya
relative kasar dan banyak pegunungannya.
6. Iklim : Sub Tropis, yang bagian pedalamannya dingin dan kering, tenggaranya lebih
basah karena masih dipengaruhi oleh iklim laut.
7. Keadaan penduduk : Pada tahun 1998, Cina mempunyai penduduk sebesar
1.242.500.000 jiwa. Yaitu terbesar pertama di bumi. Pertumbuhan penduduk rata-rata
setiap tahun 1,3%. Kepadatan penduduknya 125 jiwa per KM2. Suku bangsa mayoritas
di Cina adalah Cina Han (94%), sisanya adalah suku Mongol, Turki, Korea, dan
Manchu.
8. Bentuk pemerintahaan : Republik Komunis. Kepala Negara adalah Ketua komite
pengawas badan legislative. Kepala pemerintahannya adalah Perdana Menteri. Namun
pelaksanaan kekuasaan Cina yang efektif, terletak pada para Pemimpin Partai Komunis.
