1.0 TUJUAN

Melaksanakan upaya pencegahan dan penanggulangan HIV/AIDS di tempat kerja.

2.0 CAKUPAN

Prosedur ini berlaku untuk semua karyawan PT. Caterpillar Indonesia Batam.

3.0 PENGERTIAN

HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) adalah suatu virus yang dapat menyebabkan
penyakit AIDS. Virus ini menyerang manusia dan menyerang sistem kekebalan
(imunitas) tubuh, sehingga tubuh menjadi lemah dalam melawan infeksi.
AIDS adalah kumpulan berbagai gejala penyakit akibat menurunnya sistem kekebalan
tubuh oleh HIV.
Konseling adalah proses pemberian bantuan yang dilakukan oleh seorang ahli
(disebut konselor/pembimbing) kepada individu yang mengalami sesuatu masalah
(disebut konseli) yang bermuara pada teratasinya masalah yang dihadapi klien.
Suspek adalah suatu perkiraan/dugaan seseorang mengalami penyakit tertentu.
VCT (Voluntary Counseling and Testing) / KTS (Konseling dan Testing Sukarela)
adalah tes dengan pengambilan darah dan pemeriksaan laboratorium individu
dengan sukarela untuk mengetahui status HIV seseorang.
Karyawan adalah seseorang yang dipekerjakan oleh perusahaan.
Perawat Kesehatan Kerja adalah Petugas/Profesi yang melaksanakan program kesehatan
dan keselamatan kerja di perusahaan.

Fasilitas Pelayanan Kesehatan Rujukan adalah Klinik/Rumah sakit yang di tunjuk untuk
merujuk pasien untuk pemeriksaan kesehatan secara khusus.

4.0 TUGAS DAN TANGGUNG JAWAB

Karyawan

Employees/Job Candidates are to comply with the requirements specified for the Medical
Examination and report prior conditions or treatments and comply with the recommendation
of fit or unfit work on the company. They must allow medical information to be released to
the company for review and discussion of the results. Employees must notify HR of
significant new illnesses or notify HR if they have missed more than two weeks of work due
to an illness and attend a Post-Sickness Examination before returning to work as required
by the company. Employees must report for periodic medical examinations upon notification
if requested to do so.

Paramedis Perusahaan

Examining Physicians will perform Medical Examinations to the standards as specified by

COMPANY HR/OHN requirements. Upon completion of examinations the results and
conclusions will be forwarded to the HR Department. All employees who have abnormal
findings on Medical Examinations will be properly informed and counseled regarding
necessary corrective measures (if any) which are necessary. The Examining Physician will
discuss cases with the management team of the HR/OHN team when appropriate and notify
the HR Department of candidates from Periodic/Termination Medical Examinations who
have work related injuries or illnesses while ensuring reliable parameter testing is occurring
for the various screening programs.

jobs. Ensure that workers have appropriate Periodic Medical Examinations tailored to their
occupational exposures and monitor the program to ensure compliance to COMPANY
requirements for completing the Period Medical Examinations.

4.1 PROSEDUR

4.1.1 Employees will be required to have medical examinations in accordance with the medical
programs procedure.
4.1.2 For Pre-Placement, Periodic Medical and Specific Examinations will be conducted at the
company’s nominated medical clinic.
4.1.3 All costs associated with the company required medical check-ups will be born by the
company.
4.1.4 Periodic medical examinations due to occupational health risk factors will be provided at
appropriate frequencies based upon the specific exposure.
4.1.5 The company may request that an employee undertake a medical examination at any time,
should they feel that the employee is suffering an illness, condition, or injury which may
impair his/her ability to perform the requirements of the job
4.1.6 Physicians will obtain employee permission as appropriate before conducting tests which
require such permission, e.g. drug, alcohol etc.

4.1.7 On request, the medical clinics will advise OHN or HR Department regarding an employee’s
specific medical condition that affects his work performance.
4.1.8 The results of the medical examinations shall be kept in the employees’ personal medical
file for further reference under responsibility of OHN.
5.0 Petugas Klinik HIV/IMS (konselor atau dokter) menyatakan pasien perlu di rujuk ke rumah
sakit rujukan (CST)

6.0 Petugas Klinik HIV/IMS menjelaskan dan meminta persetujuan kepada klien/pasien untuk
dirujuk.
7.0 Klien / pasien setuju.
8.0 Petugas Klinik HIV/IMS membuat surat rujukan
9.0 Petugas Klinik HIV/IMS menghubungi salah seorang konselor VCT di rumah sakit rujukan.
10.0 Sangat disarankan salah seorang petugas klinik IMS untuk mendampingi atau
mengantarkan klien/pasien sampai ke rumah sakit rujukan.
11.0 Setelah selasai mengantarakan dan kembali ke Puskesmas, Petugas Klinik HIV/IMS
menulis laporan kegiatan pada buku register dan rujukan.
