ABSTRAK

Pembangunan ekonomi di suatu daerah berkaitan erat dengan potensi ekonomi dan
karakteristik yang dimilikinya. Penelitian yang mendalam tentang keadaan tiap daerah harus
dilakukan untuk mendapatkan data dan informasi yang untuk penentuan perencanaan
pembangunan daerah yang bersangkutan. Salah satunya dengan mengetahui sektor ekonomi
mana saja yang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan dan akan menjadi tulang punggung dan
penunjang perekonomian daerah bersangkutan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi sektor-sektor unggulan yang ada di
Kabupaten Lombok Barat, dan bagaimana pertumbuhan dan juga kekompetitifan dari sektor
tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan data PDRB Atas Dasar Harga Konstan 2010 Menurut
Lapangan Usaha Tahun 2010-2015 dan data Laju Pertumbuhan PDRB Atas Dasar Harga
Konstan 2010 Menurut Lapangan Usaha Tahun 2011-2015.
Hasil dari analisis Location Quotion (LQ) terdapat 13 sektor unggulan di Kabupaten
Lombok Barat dengan nilai tertinggi dimiliki oleh sektor Penyediaan Akomodasi dan Makan
Minum. Hasil analisis Dynamic Location Quotion (DLQ) terdapat tiga sektor yang
diperkirakan akan terus berkembang di masa yang akan datang, dengan nilai tertinggi
dimiliki oleh sektor Industri Pengolahan. Hasil analisis Shift Share sektor yang paling
kompetitif adalah sektor Konstruksi dan sektor yang paling cepat pertumbuhannya adalah
sektor Perdagangan Besar dan Eceran; Reparasi Mobil dan Sepeda Motor.

ABSTRACT

Economic development in a region is closely related to the economic potential and

characteristics it has. In-depth research related to the condition of each region should be done
to obtain data and information for the determination of development planning in the region.
One of them by knowing which economic sector has the potential to be developed and will
be the backbone and supporting the local economy.

The purpose of this research to identify the leading sectors that exist in Lombok Barat
Regency, and how the growth and also the competitiveness of the sector. This research uses
data of PDRB at Constant 2010 Price by industrial original, 2010-2015 and data of Growth
Rate of GRDP at Constant 2010 Prices by industrial original 2011-2015.

Based on the Location Quotient (LQ) analysis there has 13 leading sectors in Lombok Barat
Regency with the highest value owned by the sector of Accommodation and Food and
Beverage. Moreover, based on Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ) analysis there has three
sectors that are expected to continue to grow in the future, with the highest value owned by
the manufacturing Industry sector. Furthermore, according to Shift Share analysis it can be
seen that the most competitive sector is the construction sector and the fastest growing sector
is the Wholesale and Retail Trade sector; Car and Motorcycle Repair.
