ABSTRACT
Data from the Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) shows
that in 2013 there were 8,500,247 couples of childbearing age * PUS) who were new KB.
The 2013 Riskesdas data shows that in women aged 15-49 years with a marital status of
59.3% using a modern family planning method, 0.4% using traditional FP methods, 24.7%
having done family planning, and 15.5% never doing KB. This study aims to determine the
factors associated with the desire to become KB acceptors. The factors seen are education,
knowledge, economy, and partner support. The study was conducted at the Kebon Jeruk
health center in June 2019 with a population of women of childbearing age (15-49th) who
had not yet participated in a KB program. From the results of the study using Chi Square
test obtained p <0.005 for education, knowledge, and patient support, while the economy
p> 0.005. These results indicate that there is a meaningful relationship between education,
knowledge about family planning and husband's support for the desire to become KB
acceptors.
