STANDARD OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES
FOR ADMITTING NEW PATIENTS IN THE HCU ROOM
 Sebelum menerima pasien,perawat jaga  Before receiving the patient, the nurse takes care

 Setelah pasien berada ditempatnya,
kemudian amankan jalan nafas pasien dan
beri theraphy 02 sesuai dengan kebutuhan
terlebih dahulu.
 Pasang semua peralatan monitor vital sign
dan peralatan lainnya (infus, chateter, dan
urin bag) pada tempatnya
 Observasi semua kebutuhan pasien mulai
dari ventilasi dan sirkulasi pasien (sp02,
EKG, RR, NIBP, Temp, CVC) intake dan
output pasien
 Observasi hasil lab terakhir dan lakukan
pemeriksaan darah sesuai kebutuhan.
(darah tepi lengkap, darah kimia, ABG dan
pemeriksaan kultur).
 Observasi hasil radiologi terakhir dan
lakukan pemeriksaan radiologi seperti
yang dibutuhkan
 Dokter jaga melaporkan semua tentang KU
pasien pada kepala ICU dan menegakan
semua theraphy yang diberikan oleh
kepala ICU.
 Dokter jaga bekerja sama dengan perawat
jaga ICU untuk memberikan theraphy yang
akan diberikan seperti obat-obatan, nutrisi
dan cairan.

intake and output
 Observe the results of the last lab and do blood
tests as needed. (complete peripheral blood,
chemical blood, ABG and culture examination)
 Observe the latest radiological results and carry
out radiological examinations as needed
 The doctor on duty reports all about the General
Situation of the patient to the head of the ICU
and enforces all therapy given by the head of the
ICU
 The on-duty doctor works closely with the ICU
watchdog to provide theraphy to be given such
as medicine, nutrition and fluids.
