ABSTACT
Background: Acute Myocardial Infarction with ST Elevation (STEMI) is one of the
most severe and emergency clinical manifestations of SKA. with the morbidity and
mortality of complications is still high, so that a fast and appropriate management
approach is needed
Objective: To know the description of STEMI patient complication without the use
of fibrinolytic therapy in RSU UKI.
Method: This study used descriptive method with retrospective approach in RSU
UKI with total sample 41 patient.
Result: Based on medical record data obtained A total of 27 people (65.8%)
patients had complications and 14 people (19.5%) patients did not experience
complications. Complications that often occur in STEMI patients treated in RSU
UKI is heart failure as much as 19 people (46.3%).
Conclusion: This study shows the high incidence of complications in STEMI
patients treated at RSU UKI with the most common complication is heart failure.
