Burnout adalah sindrom yang berhubungan dengan pekerjaan yang
ditandai dengan tingkat kelelahan yang berlebihan. Kelelahan yang dirasakan tidak hanya fisik, tetapi juga mental dan emosional. Burnout dapat berkembang sebagai akibat dari stres kerja yang lama dan mengakibatkan suatu perubahan sikap dan perilaku menarik diri secara psikologis. Dampak yang paling terlihat dari burnout adalah menurunnya kinerja dan kualitas pelayanan. Akibatnya, mereka tidak dapat memenuhi tuntutan pekerjaan dan akhirnya memutuskan untuk tidak hadir, peningkatan angka cuti sakit, efektivitas kerja berkurang atau bahkan meninggalkan pekerjaannya. Beberapa penatalaksanaan untuk mengatasi burnout sudah banyak dilakukan namun hasilnya belum maksimal. Terapi EFT adalah sebuah terapi psikologi praktis yang dapat menangani banyak penyakit, baik itu penyakit fisik dan penyakit psikologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh terapi Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) terhadap burnout pada perawat pelaksana. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pre-post-test quasi-experimental design with control group. Sampel sebanyak 38 orang perawat, terbagi menjadi 2 kelompok. Masing- masing kelompok terdiri dari 19 orang yaitu termasuk kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner tentang burnout perawat. Analisa data menggunakan Uji Wilxocon Signed Rank untuk mengetahui perbedaan pada satu kelompok pre-post dan Uji Mann Whitney untuk menganalisis perubahan sesudah pada dua kelompok yang berbeda post-post. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai p value pada kelompok perlakuan = 0,000 yang artinya ada pengaruh terapi (EFT) terhadap burnout pada perawat pelaksana, sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol tidak ada perbedaan dengan nilai p value = 0,925. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk menurunkan burnout pada perawat pelaksana yaitu melalui terapi (EFT). Adanya perubahan tingkat burnout pada perawat pelaksana sesudah diberikan terapi EFT dikarenakan adanya kombinasi teknik-teknik yang mendukung efektivitas pemberian terapi EFT.

Burnout is a work-related syndrome characterized by excessive levels of
fatigue. Fatigue is felt not only physically, but also mentally and emotionally. Burnout can develop as a result of long work stress and resulting in a change in attitude and behavior in the form of psychological. The most visible impact of burnout is the decline in performance and quality of service. As a result, they were unable to fulfill the work demands and finally decided not to attend, increasing rates of sick leave, reduced work effectiveness or even leaving their jobs. Some management to deal with burnout has been done but the results have not been maximized. The effort which can be done to decrease the nurse's burnout is through the Therapy Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). EFT is a practical psychological therapy that can deal with many diseases, both physical illnesses and psychological illnesses. The purpose of this study is to know The Influence Of Therapy Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). The research method was pre- posttest quasi-experimental design with a control group. The sample was 38 nurse’s, divided into 2 groups. Each group consisted of 19 people, including the intervention group and the control group selected through purposive sampling. The data were collected using questionnaire about nurse’s burnout, and then analyzed using Wilxocon Signed Rank to find out the differences in one pre-post group. The results showed the value of p value in the treatment group = 0,000, which means that there was an effect of therapy (EFT) on burnout in the nurses, while in the control group there was no difference with the p value = 0.925. Efforts can be made to reduce burnout in nurse nurses, namely through therapy (EFT). The change in the level of burnout in the nurse nurses after being given EFT therapy is due to a combination of techniques that support the effectiveness of EFT therapy.
