ABSTRAK

HUBUNGAN TIPE KEPRIBADIAN DENGAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN PASIEN PRE

OPERASI SECTIO CAESAREA DI RUMAH SAKIT PKU MUHAMMADIYAH
GOMBONG

Latar belakang: Cemas pasti dirasakan oleh setiap individu. Individu dalam keadaan cemas akan
berpengaruh kepada fungsi tubuh, begitu pula dengan pasien yang akan menjalani operasi terutama
operasi mayor seperti sectio caesarea. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat kecemasan
adalah tipe kepribadian.
Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan tipe kepribadian dengan tingkat kecemasan pasien pre operasi
sectio caesarea di Rumah Sakit PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong.
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik
sampling menggunakan accidental sampling kepada 36 responden. Analisis menggunakan Chi
Square.
Hasil penelitian: Hasil analisis bivariat ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tipe kepribadian
dengan tingkat kecemasan pasien pre operasi sectio caesarea di Rumah Sakit PKU
Muhammadiyah Gombong dengan nilai p value 0,003 (<0,05).
Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tipe kepribadian dengan tingkat kecemasan
pasien pre operasi sectio caesarea di Rumah Sakit PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong.
Rekomendasi: Peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan meneliti faktor-faktor lain yang berhubungan
dengan tingkat kecemasan pasien pre operasi sectio caesarea seperti status ekonomi, riwayat
melahiran, potensi stressor, maturasi (kematangan), keadaan fisik seseorang, sosial budaya dan
lingkungan

ABSTRACT
THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PERSONALITY TYPE WITH PATIENT’S ANXIETY
LEVEL OF PRE SECTION CAESAREA SURGERY AT PKU MUHAMMADIYAH
GOMBONG HOSPITAL

Background: Anxiety is felt by every individual. Individuals in an anxious state will be affected
body functions, as well as patients who will undergo surgery, especially major surgery, namely
section Caesarea. One of the factors that influence the level of anxiety is personality type.
Objective: Finding out the relationship between personality type and patient’s anxiety level of pre
section Caesarea surgery at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital.
Method: This research used a correlation method with the cross-sectional approach. The sampling
technique using accidental sampling to 36 respondents. The analysis using Chi Square test.
Result: The result of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant relationship
between personality type and patient’s anxiety level of pre section Caesarea surgery at PKU
Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital with p-value 0,003 (<0,05).
Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between personality type and patient’s anxiety
level of pre section Caesarea surgery at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital
Recommendation: For furthur researcher is expected to examine other factors related to patient’s
level anxiety pre section Caesarea surgery as economic status, childbirth, stressor potential,
maturation, physical condition, social culture and environment.
