UNTUK kesembilan kalinya, UMM mempertahankan predikatnya sebagai kampus terunggul di wilayah

VII Jawa Timur. Rektor UMM, Fauzan, menerima piala "Anugerah Kampus Unggul (AKU)" dari
koordinator Kopertis VII, Prof Suprapto, dalam acara di hotel JW Marriot Surabaya, Kamis (26/5).
Penyerahan secara simbolik piala AKU dilakukan di depan prosesi wisuda ke-80 periode II tahun 2016,
hari ini (28/5) di UMM Dome.

UMM dinilai sebagai kampus kategori universitas yang berhasil mempertahankan keunggulan-
keunggulan dalam empat bidang. Yakni, pendidikan dan kerjasama; pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan,
penelitian dan pengabdian; serta pengajaran dan pembinaan kemahasiswaan. UMM mengungguli
Universitas Petra Surabaya dan Universitas Surabaya, yang masing-masing berada di posisi kedua dan
ketiga.

Menurut , Prof. Soeprapto, "Saat ini sudah banyak kampus swasta yang lebih unggul dari kampus
negeri, termasuk UMM ini," tuturnya.

Prestasi UMM membuat mahasiswa dan alumni ikut bangga.

Rektor UMM mengaku pencapaian ini sebagai landasan untuk bekerja lebih keras.

Pihaknya tak mau terjebak pada indikator administratif sehingga menurunkan produktivitas. "Tidak
ada pilihan selain memacu kualitas dan luaran-luaran yang dapat dirasakan masyarakat luas. Intinya
hilirisasi menjadi pilihan mutlak bagi kita saat ini," tegas Fauzan. (nas)

FOR ninth time, UMM maintain the predicate as a campus excel in region VII East Java. UMM Rector,
Fauzan, received the trophy "Campus of Excellence Award (AKU)" from Kopertis VII coordinator, Prof.
Suprapto, in the event at the JW Marriot Surabaya on Thursday (26/5). The symbolic handover the
trophy I do in front of the 80th graduation procession II period in 2016, today (28/5) at UMM Dome.

UMM campus is rated as a category of university managed to maintain advantages in four areas.
Namely, education and cooperation; teachers and education personnel, research and service; and
teaching and student guidance. UMM outperformed Petra University and the University of Surabaya,
each of which were in second and third positions.

According to Prof. Soeprapto, "We have had many private campus that is superior to national campus,
including UMM," he said.
Achievement UMM make students and alumni participated proud.
UMM Rector admitted this achievement as a foundation to work harder.
 He said he did not want to be stuck in an administrative indicators resulting in lower productivity.
"There is no choice but to spur quality and outcomes-outcomes that can be felt by the wider
