ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the transformational leadership style and work
discipline in improving work performance at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia Syariah
Sub-Branch Office Bireuen. In this study using inductive methods and descriptive
analysis with qualitative techniques. The results of this study found that so far the
leadership at PT BNI Syariah sub-branch office Bireuen was also less able to
provide full direction and guidance to employees, regarding optimal guidance or
direction that employees got from participating in the trainings held by the
company. The leadership of PT BNI Syariah sub-branch office Bireuen, has been
paying less attention to the discipline of employees when they come to work or go
home early because it is considered that the attendance system is the main
controller so that leaders do not pay too much attention to this matter. The
performance of the employees of PT BNI Syariah Sub-Branch Office has not been
in accordance with procedures established by the agency.
