1. My father works as a driver for the sale of PizzaHut Pontianak in reaching out of town such as
Sambas, Singkawang, Sintang, and other cities in West Kalimantan. Here my father is the labor
of the circular flow

In this case, my father's (goods line) as a driver becomes a production factor for PizzaHut
Pontianak in terms of product marketing. PizzaHut Pontianak is the firm which is the producer of
the pizza. Then PizzaHut produces products in the form of food and these products are sold
using food trucks and purchased by consumers outside the city.

In the money line, consumers from out of town buy PizzaHut Pontianak products through
PizzaHut food trucks in their city. Then PizzaHut received the money as a result of the sale. Then
the money is used by PizzaHut to pay employees and rent a car for sales outside the city. Then
the money arrived at my father as labor, and my father used the money for daily needs and of
course to buy goods and services.

Ayah saya bekerja sebagai supir untuk penjualan PizzaHut Pontianak dalam menjangkau luar
kota seperti Sambas, Singkawang, Sintang, dan kota lainnya di Kalimantan Barat. Disini ayah
saya merupakan labor dari circular flow

Dalam case ini, (jalur barang) ayah saya sebagai supir menjadi factor produksi dari PizzaHut
Pontianak dalam hal pemasaran produk. PizzaHut Pontianak menjadi firm yang merupakan
produsen dari Pizza tersebut. Kemudian PizzaHut menghasilkan produk berupa makanan dan
produk tersebut dijual menggunakan food-truck dan dibeli oleh konsumen luar kota.

Dalam jalur uang, disini konsumen luar kota membeli produk PizzaHut Pontianak melalui food-
truck PizzaHut yang ada di kota mereka. Lalu PizzaHut menerima uang tersebut sebagai hasil
penjualan. Kemudian uang tersebut dibayarkan PizzaHut untuk menggaji karyawan dan biaya
sewa mobil untuk penjualan luar kota. Kemudian uang tersebut sampai di ayah saya sebagai
labor, dan ayah saya menggunakan uang tersebut untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari dan tentunya
untuk membeli barang dan jasa.

from selling the cattle.
 d. Because farmers can produce more praire and cattle by increasing the land from the
government by 10,000 hectares. The shift of the curve to the right indicates that the
production of both is increasing.

a) Karena peternak memasang pagar antara praire dan cattle dalam 1 lahan yang sama,
sehingga keduanya bisa diproduksi secara efisien dan seimbang
b) Faktor baru berupa serigala yang dilepaskan ke alam liar beresiko memburu dan memakan
hewan ternak dan prairie yang produksinya sudah turun menjadi 25%.
c) Karena harga prairie naik menjadi $200 per ekor, peternak memutuskan untuk menambah
lahan untuk praire agar keuntungan dari penjualan praire bisa digunakan untuk menutupi
kekurangan dari penjulan cattle
d) Karena peternak bisa memproduksi lebih banyak praire dan cattle dengan bertambahnya
lahan dari pemerintah sebesar 10.000 hektar. Bergesarnya kurva ke kanan menunjukkan
kalau produksi keduanya meningkat.

3. 3. An example of a product experiencing market failure is the BBM application. In the past,
everyone used this application as the main social chat media. But along with the development of
technology, there are more applications that are more efficient and easier and have more
complete features, BBM is starting to lag behind because it still uses the pin feature to make
friends, while WhatsApp already has a save number and videocall feature.

Contoh produk yang mengalami kegagalan pasar adalah aplikasi BBM. Dulu semua orang
menggunakan aplikasi ini sebagai media social chatting utama. Namun seiring perkembangan
teknologi, terdapat lebih banyak aplikasi yang lebih efisien dan lebih mudah serta mempunyai
fitur lebih lengkap, BBM mulai tertinggal karena masih menggunaakn fitur pin untuk berteman,
sedangkan WhatsApp sudah mempunyai fitur save nomor dan videocall.

4. A) Elasticity between Point A and B = 2,5 and it’s elastic

B) Elasticity between Point B and C is = 0,75 it’s not elastic

From point A to point B the elasticity point is 2,5, which mean the change in demand and price is
elastic. The little presentage change in price will effect a bigger change in demand quantity. A
0,4% increase in price will effect 1% increase in demand quantity From point B to point C the
elasticity point is 0,75, which means the change in demand and price is inelastic, the little
presentage change in price just effect litle presentage change in demand quantity. 0,66%
increase in price will just effect 0,5% in quantity demand.

Dari titik A ke titik B titik elastisitasnya adalah 2,5 yang berarti perubahan permintaan dan
harga adalah elastis. Persentase perubahan harga yang kecil akan mempengaruhi perubahan
kuantitas permintaan yang lebih besar. Kenaikan harga sebesar 0,4% akan mempengaruhi
kenaikan kuantitas permintaan sebesar 1% Dari titik B ke titik C titik elastisitasnya adalah 0,75,
yang berarti perubahan permintaan dan harga bersifat inelastis, semakin kecil persentase
perubahan harga hanya berpengaruh kecil persentase perubahan kuantitas permintaan.
Kenaikan harga sebesar 0,66% hanya akan mempengaruhi permintaan kuantitas sebesar 0,5%.
