ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi program Sekolah Lapang Sapta


Usaha Tani pada Kelompok Tani Sinar Baru II Desa Hambuku Baru Kecamatan
Babirik Kebupaten Hulu Sungai Utara. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Hambuku Baru
Kecamatan Babirik. Sampel yang diambil anggota kelompok tani yang berjumlah 20
orang. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode sensus. Analisis yang
digunakan yaitu analisis kualitatif dan skala likert. Pengetahuan petani terhadap
Sekolah Lapang Sapta Usaha Tani berada pada angka rata-rata 82,64 pada kategori
interval baik dengan angka 82,64% tergolong sangat kuat, sikap petani terhadap
sekolah lapang sapta usaha tani berada pada angka rata-rata 69 pada kategori interval
baik berada dengan angka 69% tergolong netral atau petani dapat menerima program
Sekolah Lapang Sapta Usaha Tani, dan keterampilan petani terhadap program
sekolah lapang sapta usaha tani berada pada angka rata-rata 72,86 pada kategori
interval baik dengan angka 72,86% yang tergolong kuat. Dapat dilihat dari hasil
penelitian tersebut bahwa program Sekolah Lapang Sapta Usaha Tani dapat diterima
serta meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kelompok tani. Artinya program
ini dapat terus di lanjutkan agar dapat meningkatkan kualitas kelompok tani sehingga
pendapatan petani dapat lebih meningkat.

ABSTRACT

This study aims to evaluate the Sapta Usaha Farmer Field School program in
the Sinar Baru II Farmer Group, Hambuku Baru Village, Babirik District, North Hulu
Sungai Regency. The study was conducted in the village of Hambuku Baru, Babirik
District. Samples were taken by 20 farmer group members. Data collection method is
done by census method. The analysis used is qualitative analysis and Likert scale.
Farmers' knowledge of the Sapta Usaha Tani Farming Field School is an average of
82.64 in the good interval category with a figure of 82.64% classified as very strong,
the attitude of farmers to the Sapta Farming Field School is an average of 69 in the
good interval category 69% are neutral or farmers can accept the Sapta Usaha Tani
Farming Field School program, and the skills of farmers towards the farmer sapta
field school program are 72.86 in the average interval category with a good 72.86% .
It can be seen from the results of the study that the Sapta Usaha Tani Field School
program can be accepted as well as increasing the knowledge and skills of farmer
groups. This means that this program can be continued in order to improve the quality
of farmer groups so that farmers' income can be increased.
