The increasing need for fuel along with the increasing population of the
world is encouraging the development of alternative energy sources.Alternative
energy is a source of Bioetanol renewable (renewable) so there need be no fears
of a growing depletion of supplies of energy sources.Coir abundant waste needs
to be addressed because it will cause environmental pollution. Content of
hemicellulose and cellulose on coir potentially to be processed into glucose which
is then fermented to produce bioetanol. The process of making bioetanol using the
fermentation process, with bacteria in saccharomyces cerevisiae using is.The
influence of the concentration of H2SO4 and the fermentation time affects the
levels of density, refractive index and levels of bioetanol. Conditions the
concentration of H2SO4 in the variations of the 1N, 2N, 3N, 4N, 5N.The best
concentration added to the fermentation time variation 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 (day).
Research of optimum levels of bioetanol gained 4.01% are at the time of
fermentation to-3 days. This research is expected to provide references to
alternative energy development.
