Abortion is one of the biggest causes of maternal death in Indonesia. Maternal age
and parity have an influence on the incidence of abortion recorded in
Argamakmur Hospital. This study aims to study the relationship between Uisa and
Pritas with the incidence of abortion in Argamamkur Hospital in 2021.
This study uses an analytical survey design with a Case Control approach. The
population in this study were all pregnant women who were treated in the
obstetric ward of Argamakmur General Hospital with an age of <20 weeks from
January - December 2021, namely 223 people with 74 abortion cases and 149
non-abortion cases. Sampling in this study is total sampling for cases and using a
systematic random sampling technique for controls. This study uses secondary
data from Argamakmur Hospital. Data analysis was performed by univariate,
bivariate with Chi-Square test.
The results showed that from 148 respondents, 59 respondents aged < 20 years, 53
respondents aged 20-35 years, 36 respondents aged > 35 years, 58 respondents
were primiparous, 46 respondents were multiparous, and 44 respondents were
grande multipara. There is a relationship between age and the incidence of
abortion in Argamakmur Hospital in 2021 with a weak relationship category,
there is a parity relationship with the incidence of abortion in Argamakmur
Hospital in 2021 with a weak relationship. It is hoped that this information can be
useful input for hospitals, especially health workers who provide midwifery
services and care for pregnant women with abortions.
