KATA PENGANTAR
Usaha akomodasi/perhotelan merupakan salah satu pendukung bagi aktivitas

pariwisata yang menjadi prioritas pembangunan nasional. Industri perhotelan merupakan
salah satu unsur pariwisata yang penting karena dapat menjadi tolak ukur keberhasilan
suatu daerah dalam mempromosikan sekaligus mendatangkan wisatawan. Indikator-
indikator yang dapat dijadikan tolak ukur tersebut antara lain tingkat penghunian kamar
hotel, jumlah tamu yang menginap, dan rata-rata lama tamu menginap. Ketiga indikator
tersebut disajikan dalam Publikasi “Tingkat Penghunian Kamar Hotel Daerah Istimewa
Yogyakarta Tahun 2022”.
Penghargaan dan ucapan terima kasih disampaikan kepada semua pihak yang

FOREWORD
Accommodation/hospitality business is one of which support for tourism businesses,

one of a priority of national development. Hotel industry is one of the most important
elements that can be used as a benchmark for the success in promoting or inviting tourists.
Indicators that can be used as benchmarks include the level of occupancy of hotel rooms, the
number of guests staying, and the average length of stay. These three indicators are presented
in the publication "Occupancy Rate of Hotel Room Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta 2022".
We are grateful and thank to all institutions which supported the data collection,
especially to the hotel managements which make this publication available. This publication
is expected to be useful for stakeholders, whether private or government as an evaluation and
development planning of tourism, especially for the hospitality area.

ABSTRAKSI
Publikasi Tingkat Penghunian Kamar Hotel Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta 2022

diterbitkan setiap tahun oleh Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.
Data yang ditampilkan berasal dari responden usaha hotel, baik yang berbintang maupun
nonbintang yang dikumpulkan setiap bulan. Hotel dengan klasifikasi bintang dicacah
secara lengkap (sensus), sedangkan hotel nonbintang dicacah secara sampel survei. Jumlah
responden sebanyak 862 hotel, terdiri dari 172 hotel bintang dan 690 hotel non bintang.
Aktivitas pariwisata di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta meliputi wisata MICE (Meeting,

Incentive, Convention and Exhibition), wisata budaya, wisata alam, wisata minat khusus,
dan berbagai fasilitas pariwisata lainnya, seperti resort, hotel, dan restoran. Tercatat ada
172 hotel bintang dan 1.653 hotel nonbintang di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta pada 2022.

Jumlah tamu yang datang dan menginap pada tahun 2022 mengalami peningkatan

sebesar 39,13 persen dibanding tahun sebelumnya. Pada 2022 tercatat kunjungan

wisatawan yang menginap di hotel sebanyak 6,4 juta orang terdiri dari 45,8 ribu orang

Dari sejumlah wisatawan yang datang sebanyak 76,56 persen menginap di hotel

bintang. Selebihnya sebanyak 23,44 persen menginap pada hotel nonbintang.

Rata-rata lama menginap tamu pada hotel bintang mencapai 1,53 malam.

Sedangkan rata-rata lama menginap tamu pada hotel nonbintang mencapai 1,18 malam.

Tingkat Penghunian Kamar (TPK) pada hotel bintang sebesar 57,30 persen. Lebih
tinggi 34,43 poin jika dibandingkan TPK hotel nonbintang yang sebesar 22,87 persen.

ABSTRACT
The publication "Occupancy Rate of Hotel Room Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta

2022” is annually published by BPS-Statistics Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Province. The
data presented in this publication is carried out throughout accommodation companies that
become respondents only hotel business, both star and non-star. Hotels with star classification
are enumerated completely (census), while non-star hotels are enumerated by survey sample.
The number of respondents was 862 hotels, consisting of 172 star hotels and 690 non-star
hotels.
Currently tourism activity becomes a leading in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta are

MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition), cultural and nature tourism tours,
and tourism facilities such as resorts, hotels, and restaurants. There were 172 listed star
hotels, and 1,653 non-stars at Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta in 2022.
