Interferensi = faktor pembatas utama kinerja
sistem radio seluler
Pada kanal voice, interferensi menyebabkan
cross talk
Pada kanal kontrol, interferensi menyebabkan
kesalahan, blocking dan error dalam digital
signalling
Interferensi sering dikenal sebagai major
bottleneck dalam penambahan kapasitas dan
menjadi penyebab utama drop call.
 Jenis interferensi
Co-channel interference => pada
frequency reuse, ada beberapa sel yang
menggunakan set frekuensi yang sama
Adjacent channel interference =>
interferensi yang disebabkan oleh
frekuensi yang berdekatan dari sel lain
Trunking dan Grade of Service (GOS)

Trunking => instalasi percabangan jalur

komunikasi
GoS => ukuran kemampuan user dapat
mengakses sistem trunking pada saat jam
tersibuk
