ANATOMI
60-70% dari zona perifer,
10-20% berasal dari zona transisi, dan
5-10% di zona tengah
DEFINISI
3. Bone scan
Stadium A dibagi menjadi dua kelompok :
Stadium B dibagi dua kelompok :
STADIUM
Stadium C
Tumor meluas dan teraba melebihi prostate tetapi belum terjadi
metastasis jauh.
Stadium D : terdapat metatasis.
Stadium D1, keterlibatan hanya kelenjar limfe panggul tanpa
metastasis lain.
sedikit stroma campur tangan.
kelenjar lumen tanpa stroma intervensi. Hal ini menghasilkan tampilan selendang cookie seperti
cutter. Perbatasan kelenjar cribriform ini halus.
Gleason grade 4 Terkadang kelenjar tampak menyatu, berbagi batas sel yang sama. Kelenjar
Terapi
1. Radical prostatectomyThe first radical perineal prostatectomy was performed by Hugh
Hampton Young in 1904, and Millin first described the radical retropubic approach in 1945.
However, the procedure remained unpopular because of frequent complications of
incontinence and impotence.
2. Radiation therapy external beam therapy Traditional external beam radiotherapy (XRT)
techniques allow the safe delivery of 65007000 cGy to the prostate. Standard XRT
techniques depend upon bony landmarks to define treatment borders or a single CT slice to
define the target volume. These standard XRT techniques generally involve the use of open
square or rectangular fields with minimal to no blocking and are characterized by the use of
relatively small boost fields. Often, these XRT techniques fail to provide adequate coverage
of the target volume in as many as 2041% of patients with CaP irradiated
3. Radiation therapybrachytherapy External beam radiation can be given to those with
intermediate and high-risk cancers who receive permanent brachytherapy and is routinely given
to all those who undergo temporary or high dose rate brachytherapy.
4. Cryosurgery and high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU)There has been a resurgence of
interest in cryosurgery as a treatment for localized CaP in the past several years. This is due to an
increased interest in less invasive forms of therapy for localized CaP as well as several recent
technical innovations, including improved percutaneous techniques, expertise in TRUS,
improved cryotechnology, and better understanding of cryobiology. Freezing of the prostate is
carried out by using a multiprobe cryosurgical device.
