Handover Proses
• Pada saat terminal pengguna bergerak, maka sistem
jaringan akan mengukur setiap perubahan parameter pada
terminal tersebut. Parameter utama yang diukur untuk
menentukan proses handover adalah indikasi kekuatan sinyal
yang diterima atau Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI).
parameter lainnya adalah Received Signal Code Power
(RSCP). Jika satu atau lebih parameter tersebut mencapai
ambang batas yang ditentukan, maka handover akan terjadi.
Permintaan untuk melakukan handover dapat dilakukan
oleh terminal pengguna atau sistem jaringan melalui BTS/BS.
