 Dressing luka dengan banyak variasi yang
Staphylococcus aureus (kuning), Enterococcus faecalis (biru),
efektif untuk mengikat dan mengangkat
Pseudomonas aeruginosa (ungu), bakteri dan mikroorganisme lain dari luka
Klebsiella spec. (hijau), Candida albicans (orange)
yang :
 tidak bersih,
 terkontaminasi,dan
 terinfeksi.
 Dua partikel hidrofobik (menolak air) akan saling berikatan di
dalam kondisi molekul air yang mengitari sekeliling partikel
tersebut.

Cutimed® Sorbact® terbuat dari bahan asetat dan katun yang dilapisi
oleh DACC (dialkylcarbamoylchloride) -derivat dari asam lemak, yaitu
suatu zat yang memiliki sifat hidrofobik yang kuat. Hal inilah yang
memberikan sifat hidrofobik pada dressing.
Beberapa mikroorganisme yang menginfeksi luka:
• Staphylococcus aureus
• Streptococcae
• Escherichia coli
• Pseudomonas aeruginosa
• Klebsiella
• Citrobacter
• Candida albicans

Semakin hidrofobik, semakin berbahaya
