PENDAHULUAN

Trauma merupakan keadaan yang disebabkan oleh luka atau cedera

dan dapat menyebabkan hilangnya produktivitas seseorang.1

Penyebab terbesar ketiga kematian dan kecacatan diseluruh dunia  >

90% tejadi di Negara berkembang.2

WHO  Lebih dari 3.700 orang meninggal di jalan-jalan dunia setiap

hari dan puluhan juta orang terluka atau cacat setiap tahun.3

• The Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS)
is the standard measure used to
quantify level of consciousness in
head injured patients.
• Teasdale and Jennett initially
published the Glasgow Coma
Scale in 1974 and later modified in
1976

• First introduced by Champion, et
al, in 1981 as a Trauma Score (TS)
then revised to RTS (Revised
Trauma Score) in 1983 by
eliminating the assessment of
respiration expansion and capillary
fill time
• RTS utilizes 3 physiologic
parameters : Glasgow Coma
Scale (GCS), Systemic blood
pressure (SBP), Respiratory rate
(RR)
• Two types of RTS: Triage RTS (T-
RTS) and The coded RTS

• T-RTS = GCS + SBP + RR

• Interpretasi :
• Skor maksimum (indicating least affected) = 12
T-RTS • Skor minimum (indicating most affected) = 0
• Potentially important trauma ≤ 11  pasien sebaiknya dirawat di pusat
pelayanan trauma.

• RTS = 0,9368 GCS + 0,7326 SBP + 0,2908 RR

RTS with code • Nilai RTS antara 0 – 7,8408

Kelebihan RTS  menekankan dampak cedera kepala yang signifikan terhadap outcome dari pasien
trauma.

Kelemahan RTS  ketidakmampuan untuk menilai secara akurat pasien trauma yang terintubasi dan
menggunakan ventilasi mekanik, serta pasien trauma yang sedang dalam pengaruh obat-obatan dan
alkohol.
KESIMPULAN

▪ Triase pasien trauma penting untuk menentukan prioritas penentuan kebutuhan korban dengan
sumber terbatas.

▪ Sistem penilaian trauma membantu menilai secara kuantitatif berat ringannya cedera,
memperkirakan hasil akhir trauma  Sistem skoring fisiologik  Revised Trauma Score
(RTS).

▪ RTS memiliki 2 bentuk tergantung pada penggunaannya.

1) T-RTS  T-RTS = GCS + SBP + RR
2) RTS with code  RTS = 0,9368 GCS + 0,7326 SBP + 0,2908 RR
