Titrasi
Suatu proses analisis dimana suatu volume larutan standar ditambahkan ke dalam larutan
dengan tujuan mengetahui komponen yang tidak dikenal. (Day Underwood, 1999)

Standarisasi larutan
Proses penentuan konsentrasi larutan standar sekunder dengan cara menitrasi dengan larutan
standar primer.

 ALAT DAN BAHAN
Alat untuk Standarisasi NaOH :
1. Corong gelas pendek (1 buah)
2. Buret 50 ml (1) buah
3. Statif dan klem (1 buah )
Bahan
4. Labu erlenmeyer 250 ml ( 2 buah) 1. Asam oksalat 0,06300
5. Batang pengaduk (1 buah) gram
6. Labu takar 100 ml (1 buah) 2. Larutan NaOH (50ml)
7. Pipet Volumetrik 10 ml (1 buah)
8. Ball pipet (1 buah)
3. Indikator fenolptaelin
9. Botol timbang (1 buah) 4. Aquades secukupnya
10. Gelas kimia 100 ml (1 buah)
11. Neraca analitik (1 set)
12. Spatula (1 buah)
13. Kertas saring secukupnya.

1. NaOH:
• korosif dengan beberapa
logam, sehingga jangan sampai
NaOH tercecer pada
permukaan Logam.
• Gunakan juga sarung tangan
agar tidak mengiritasi kulit
• Sifatnya yang higroskopis
maka hindari menyimpan di
tempat lembab.
• Karena mengiritasi sistem
respirasi maka jangan sampai
terhirup dan gunakan masker.

• Bersifat higroskopis
sehingga harus disimpan di
tempat yang kering.
• Karena bersifat korosif
jangan sampai zat tercecer
pada permukaan logam dan
gunakan sarung tangan saat
penanganan.
• Jangan buang langsung ke
lingkungan karena berbahaya
bagi organisme air.
• Tidak stabil jika terkena
cahaya.maka, simpan di
botol yang gelap.
3. Fenolptalein C2H14O4
• karena menyebabkan gangguan
pernafasan maka jangan sampai terhirup.
• Jika terhirup bawa korban ke udara segar.
• Jangan sampai terkena mata karena
menyebabkan iritasi mata.
• Jauhkan dari sumber api atau panas
karena mudah terbakar.
• Karena tidak stabil saat terkena cahaya
maka harus di simpan di botol yang gelap

Kurangnya Alat Memilih alat Keterampilan

kurang terampil dalam

kurang teliti dalam memilih
klem dan statif yang kokoh dan
kuat sehingga buret mudah
terjatuh
mengontrol keran buret
sehingga kelebihan meneteskan
titran kepada titrat. Akibatnya
warna titran menjadi terlalu
pink

Tinggi badan tidak

mengimbangi tinggi buret
Sehingga saat menuangkan
titran ke buret terasa sedikit
sulit.

Jangan sampai asam oksalat tercecer di
sekitar neraca analitik karena dapat Memperhatikan sifat asam oksalat yang
mempengaruhi massa dan sifatnya higroskopis sehingga saat penimbangan
yang korosif dapat merusak neraca harus menggunakan botol timbang
analitik dengan tutup.

Alat alat volumetrik(buret,pipet gondok,)

harus dibilas terlebih dahulu dengan Penuangan larutan kedalam labu
larutan yang akan dipakai agar tidak ukur harus dialirkan melalui batang
mempengaruhi konsentrasi larutan pengaduk agar tidak tercecer

Isi akuades sampai -+ 1cm dibawah tanda batas labu

ukur, kemudian keringkan dinding labu ukur dengan
kertas hisap, baru tambahkan air sedikit demi sedikit
menggunakan pipet tetes.
