Apa Guru Itu Profesi?
Profesi
Merupakan suatu jabatan atau pekerjaan yang menuntut
keahlian (expertise) dari para anggotanya. Artinya, ia tidak
bisa dilakukan oleh sembarangan orang yang tidak dilatih
dan tidak disiapkan secara khusus untuk melakukan suatu
pekerjaan. (Sanusi, 1991:1)

Bisa disimpulkan bahwa guru itu merupakan sebuah profesi,

dimana sebagai guru haruslah memiliki sebuah pengetahuan
dan keterampilan dalam mengajar. Dan dimana kegiatan ini
menuntut sebuah keahlian dari seseorang. Dan juga harus
melewati proses dan pendidikan tertentu untuk menjadi
seorang guru.
 Ciri-ciri Profesi

1) pekerjaan itu memiliki fungsi dan

signifikansi sosial karena diperlukan untuk
pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Jadi profesi 4) ada kode etik yang menjadi pedoman
