DEFENISI PPOK
 Defenisi PPOK
Penyakit paru kronik yang ditandai oleh hambatan aliran udara di saluran nafas yang bersifat
progresif,non-reversibel atau reversibel parsial

Keterbatasan aliran udara berhubungan dengan adanya respon inflamasi yang tidak normal
dari partikel dan gas yang berbahaya bagi paru-paru
PPOK terdiri dari bronkitis kronik dan emfisema atau
gabungan keduanya.

 Bronkitis kronik

Batuk kronik berdahak,minimal 3 bulan dalam

setahun,sekurang-kurangnya 2 tahun berturut-turut

 Emfisema

Kelainan anatomis, ditandai dengan adanya rongga udara

distal bronchioli terminal,disertai kerusakan dinding alveoli
(permanen)

 ETIOLOGI
Etiologi penyakit paru obstruktif kronik (PPOK) atau chronic obstructive
pulmonary disease (COPD) adalah kerusakan jalan nafas atau kerusakan
parenkim paru. Kerusakan ini dapat disebabkan oleh :

 Merokok Hal lain yang dapat menyebabkan PPOK:

 Faktor Lingkungan  Hiperresponsif jalan nafas

 Gangguan genetika  Penggunaan obat intravena

(Alpha 1-antitrypsin)  Sindrom Immunodefisiensi

 Sindrom vaskulitis

 Usia

“ Manifestasi klinis pada PPOK menurut Mansjoer (2008) dan

GOLD (2010) yaitu:
Malfungsi kronis pada sistem pernafasan yang manifestasi
awalnya ditandai dengan batuk-batuk dan produksi dahak
khususnya yang muncul di pagi hari. Nafas pendek sedang yang
berkembang menjadi nafas pendek,sesak nafas akut, frekuensi
nafas yang cepat,penggunaan otot bantu pernafasan dan
ekspirasi lebih lama daripada inspirasi.
