Apa itu NAPZA?

NAPZA merupakan akronim dari Narkoba, Psikotropika dan Zat Adiktif lainnya yang
merupakan jenis obat-obatan yang dapat mempengaruhi gangguan kesehatan dan kejiwaan.

NAPZA secara umum adalah zat-zat kimiawi yang apabila dimasukkan kedalam tubuh baik
secara oral (diminum, dihisap, dihirup dan disedot) maupun disuntik, dapat mempengaruhi
pikiran, suasana hati, perasaan dan perilaku seseorang.
Menurut UU RI No.22 Tahun 1997 tentang narkotika bahwa:

● Narkotika adalah suatu zat atau obat yang berasal dari tanaman maupun bukan tanaman baik
sintesis maupun semi sintesis yang menyebabkan penurunan dan perubahan kesadaran, mengurangi
dan menghilangkan rasa nyeri serta dapat menimbulkan ketergantungan secara fisik maupun
psikologik.
● Psikotropika adalah setiap bahan baik alami ataupun buatan bukan Narkotika, yang berkhasiat
psikoaktif mempunyai pengaruh selektif pada susunan saraf pusat yang menyebabkan perubahan
khas pada aktifitas mental dan perilaku.
● Zat Adiktif yaitu bahan lain yang bukan Narkotika atau Psikotropika yang merupakan inhalasi
yang penggunaannya dapat menimbulkan ketergantungan, misalnya lem, aceton, eter, premix,
thiner dan lain-lain.
