PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN
 
1.1 KOMPLEKSITAS PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN
Kompleksitas pengambilan keputusan mengacu pada tingkat kesulitan atau
kerumitan yang terlibat dalam proses pengambilan keputusan. Faktor-faktor berikut dapat
menyebabkan kompleksitas dalam pengambilan keputusan:

1.)Jumlah Informasi: Semakin banyak informasi yang tersedia, semakin kompleks proses pengambilan keputusan.
Memilah informasi yang relevan dan mengabaikan yang tidak relevan dapat menjadi tugas yang sulit.

2.)Ketidakpastian: Ketika masa depan tidak dapat diprediksi dengan pasti, pengambilan keputusan menjadi lebih
kompleks. Keputusan seringkali harus dibuat dalam kondisi ketidakpastian, yang dapat meningkatkan risiko dan
mempengaruhi hasil.
3.)Konsekuensi Keputusan: Keputusan dengan konsekuensi besar dan jangka panjang cenderung lebih
kompleks daripada keputusan dengan dampak yang lebih kecil.

4.)Keterbatasan Sumber Daya: Ketika sumber daya terbatas, seperti waktu, uang, atau tenaga kerja,
harus diperhitungkan, pengambilan keputusan menjadi lebih rumit karena perlu memprioritaskan dan
mengoptimalkan penggunaan sumber daya.

5.)Keterlibatan Pihak-pihak Terkait: Jika banyak pihak terkait yang memiliki


kepentingan dalam keputusan, prosesnya bisa menjadi kompleks karena perlu mempertimbangkan
berbagai sudut pandang dan kepentingan yang berbeda.
1.2 MANFAAT PEMODELAN SISTEM SECARA TEKNIS
Manfaat pemodelan sistem harus dilihat dari dua sisi, sisi teknik (hard-aspects) dan sisi
non-teknis (soft aspects).

Manfaat Teknis:

1.)Analisis dan Perancangan yang Lebih Baik: Pemodelan sistem membantu mengidentifikasi masalah
potensial dan memungkinkan perancangan yang lebih baik sebelum implementasinis.
2.)Deteksi dan Perbaikan Kesalahan: Pemodelan sistem memungkinkan identifikasi dini terhadap
kesalahan dan kelemahan dalam desain atau logika perangkat lunak. Hal ini memungkinkan perbaikan
sebelum implementasi, yang dapat menghemat waktu dan biaya dalam jangka panjang.
3.)Pengujian yang Lebih Efisien: Dengan memiliki model sistem, pengembang dapat mengidentifikasi
dan menguji kasus uji yang relevan dengan lebih efisien. Pemodelan membantu dalam menyusun skenario
pengujian yang mencakup berbagai kemungkinan situasi.
4.)Pemeliharaan yang Mudah: Struktur dan aliran sistem yang terdefinisi dengan baik dalam model
memudahkan pemeliharaan dan perbaikan saat ada perubahan atau penambahan fitur baru.
5.)Perencanaan Kapasitas dan Skalabilitas: Pemodelan sistem membantu dalam memperkirakan
kapasitas dan mengantisipasi skala yang diperlukan untuk mengakomodasi pertumbuhan dan permintaan
masa depan.

diperbarui dan dipelihara sepanjang siklus hidup sistem.

dapat lebih mudah beradaptasi dengan perubahan kebutuhan bisnis atau lingkungan
teknis.
1.3 BERPIKIR BERBASIS MODEL (MODEL
THINKING) SEBAGAI MANFAAT PEMODELAN
SECARA NON-TEKNIS

Berpikir berbasis model (model thinking) adalah suatu pendekatan yang


melibatkan penggunaan dan pengembangan model untuk memahami dan
memecahkan masalah, menganalisis situasi, dan membuat keputusan.
Meskipun sering kali digunakan dalam konteks teknis dan ilmiah, terdapat
manfaat penting untuk menggunakan pemodelan secara non-teknis dalam
berbagai aspek kehidupan. Berikut adalah beberapa manfaat pemodelan
secara non-teknis:
1.)Memahami kompleksitas: Pemodelan dapat membantu kita memahami
masalah yang kompleks dengan menyederhanakan aspek-aspeknya dan
mengidentifikasi hubungan dan pola yang mendasarinya
2.)Pengambilan keputusan yang lebih baik: Pemodelan membantu dalam
proses pengambilan keputusan dengan memperlihatkan konsekuensi dari
berbagai pilihan. Dengan mempertimbangkan berbagai skenario melalui model,
keputusan dapat diambil berdasarkan bukti yang lebih kuat dan analisis yang lebih
mendalam.

diinginkan.
4.)Mengkomunikasikan ide dengan lebih baik: Pemodelan
non-teknis dapat membantu dalam berkomunikasi ide atau
konsep yang kompleks kepada orang lain yang mungkin tidak
memiliki pengetahuan teknis tentang subjek tersebut. Model
dapat dianggap sebagai alat untuk memvisualisasikan ide dan
memudahkan penyampaian informasi yang sulit dipahami.

5.)Membantu dalam perencanaan strategis: Pemodelan non-


teknis dapat digunakan untuk merencanakan strategi dan taktik
dalam berbagai bidang, seperti bisnis, keuangan, dan
pengembangan sosial. Dengan mengidentifikasi hubungan antara
variabel yang berbeda, strategi yang lebih efektif dapat dihasilkan.
1.4 BERPIKIR SISTEM (SYSTEMS THINKING)
Model thinking merupakan bagian dari systems thinking atau berpikir sistem. Berpikir
sistem dapat didefinisikan sebagai pola berpikir yang menggunakan pemahaman sistem
dalam melakukan proses melihat dan mengolah data serta informasi menjadi sebuah
pengambilan keputusan. Ketika berpikir sistem, beberapa aspek utama yang perlu
diperhatikan antara lain:

1.)Melihat keseluruhan sistem: Berpikir sistem melibatkan melihat sistem dalam keseluruhan, bukan
hanya fokus pada bagian-bagian individu.
2.)Hubungan dan ketergantungan: Pendekatan ini menekankan pentingnya
hubungan dan ketergantungan antara elemen-elemen dalam sistem. Perubahan
pada satu elemen dapat mempengaruhi keseluruhan sistem, dan pemahaman
tentang hubungan ini membantu mengantisipasi dampak perubahan.

3.)Perubahan seiring waktu: Berpikir sistem juga melibatkan


pemahaman tentang bagaimana sistem dapat berubah seiring waktu.
Sistem seringkali tidak stabil dan mengalami evolusi, dan pemahaman
tentang dinamika ini dapat membantu dalam merencanakan dan
menyesuaikan kebijakan atau tindakan.

6.)Model dan simulasi: Untuk menganalisis sistem yang kompleks, berpikir


sistem menggunakan model dan simulasi untuk menggambarkan dan
memahami interaksi antara elemen-elemen dalam sistem.
1.5 MANAJEMEN BERBASIS MODEL (MODEL-BASED
MANAGEMENT)
Manajemen berbasis model, atau Model-Based Management, adalah pendekatan manajemen yang
menggunakan model sebagai landasan untuk mengambil keputusan, merencanakan, dan mengelola
berbagai aspek dalam organisasi atau proses bisnis. Beberapa contoh penggunaan model dalam
manajemen adalah:

1.)Perencanaan dan Proyeksi: Manajemen berbasis model memungkinkan perusahaan


untuk merencanakan dan memproyeksikan kinerja masa depan berdasarkan data historis
dan variabel yang relevan. Misalnya, dalam perencanaan keuangan, model keuangan
dapat digunakan untuk meramalkan pendapatan dan biaya untuk beberapa periode ke
depan.

2.)Analisis Sensitivitas: Model dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi sejauh


mana perubahan pada satu variabel dapat mempengaruhi hasil keseluruhan. Hal
