This movie is set sometime in the early 60s and focuses on a nun who confronts a priest after suspecting

him of abusing a black student. He denies the charges, and much of the powerful dialogue revolves around themes such as religion, morality, and authority. These occasionally lets the obvious moral lessons bring the story crashing down. This is one movie that really does prove something very important about American film.
