ABSTRAK



Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemahiran murid membina ayat penyata
menggunakan Teknik SAOT bagi memenuhi kehendak kertas Bahasa Melayu Kertas 2
Bahagian A. Responden kajian terdiri daripada 4 orang murid perempuan dan 4 orang murid
lelaki dari sebuah kelas tahun 3. Instrumen kajian terdiri daripada borang pemerhatian,
lembaran kerja ujian pra dan ujian pos dan juga temu bual. Hasil tinjauan menunjukkan
murid tidak mahir menulis ayat berdasarkan gambar rangsangan yang diberikan. Bagi
mengatasi masalah ini saya telah memperkenalkan Teknik SAOT. Murid perlu menulis apa s
yang dapat dilihat menerusi gambar yang diberikan. Murid melihat gambar dan
menyenaraikan kata kerja yang berlaku dalam gambar. Selepas melaksanakan sesi pengajaran
menggunakan kaedah ini, saya menjalankan ujian pos untuk melihat prestasi murid-murid.
Keputusan ujian pos menunjukkan peningkatan prestasi murid yang positif.

ABSTRACT



This study aims to improve the skills students build sentence statement SAOT Techniques is
used to meet the requirements of paper Malay Language Paper 2 Section A. A total of 4
female students and 4 male students form a class of Year 3 students. The research instrument
consists of observation forms, interviews, worksheets pre test and post test. Initial survey
was carried out through the review of student work and pretest. Survey result show students
are not proficient write sentences on a given stimulus picture. To overcome this problem I
have introduced SAOT Techniques. Students need to write anything that can be seen through

verbs occurring in the. After implementing the teaching sessions using this method. I run a
test post to see the performance of the pupils. Post test result showed a positive increase in
student achievement. Students more interested to build sentences using this method because
it is easy and fun.
