    ISSN 1412 - 3606 PENGARUH PEMBERIAN AIR DAN MULSA TERHADAP IKLIM MIKRO PADA TANAMAN CABAI (Capsicum annuum L.) DI TANAH ENTISOL ‘Noorhadi dan Supriyadi Program Stud} Tanah Falaltas Pertanian UNS ABSTRACT ‘The research has aim to investigate the effect of watering and mulch treatment and it's interaction o microclimate ‘of chili (Capsicum anmeum L. which isa plant indicator. The research had been conebucted on Enusol at Karangasem, ‘Surakaria, where has 106 m height sea level. ‘The research is a factorial experimen that used basic design Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) with 2 factors. The frst factor is volume of watering. It consists 3 levels: 2 and 3 ltres/plant day. The second factor is ‘mulch treatment. There are 3 kinds of mulch (without mulch, rice straw, black silver plastic), so there are 9 treatment ‘combinations and each is replicated 3 times. The data was analysed by F-test and continued by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRD) at 586. ‘The research results that watering treatment decreases air temperature and increases sil and air moisture, plant ‘height and leafs wide. Mulch treatment decreases solland air temperature and increases air moisture, plant height and eas wide. Watering and mulch treatment interaction decreases air emperatur and increases plant height and leaf wide. Keywords : Watering, mulch, microclimate, chill.
