LETAK GEOGRAFIS
GEOGRAPHICAL SITUATION



Kota Tangerang dengan mottonya
sebagai Kota Berhias terletak antara 66 -
613 Lintang Selatan dan 10636-10642
Bujur Timur. Batas administratif Kota
Tangerang adalah sebagai berikut:

Sebelah utara berbatasan dengan
Kecamatan Teluknaga dan Kecamatan
Sepatan, Kabupaten Tangerang.

Sebelah selatan berbatasan dengan
Kecamatan Curug, Kecamatan Serpong,
dan Kecamatan Pondok Aren, Kota
Tangerang Selatan.


Sebelah timur berbatasan dengan
Provinsi DKI Jakarta.

Sebelah barat berbatasan dengan
Kecamatan Cikupa, Kabupaten
Tangerang.


Tangerang Municipality, known for
its motto BERHIAS is located between
66 - 613 South Latitude and 10636 -
10642 East Longitude. It has boundaries
as follows:

North side: It is bounded by District of
Teluknaga and Sepatan, Tangerang
Regency.

South side: It is bounded by District of
Curug, Serpong, and Pondok Aren,
Tangerang Selatan Municipality.



East side: It is bounded by DKI
Jakarta Province.

West side: It is bounded by District of
Cikupa, Tangerang Regency.

Secara geografis, Larangan
merupakan kecamatan yang berjarak paling
jauh dari Ibukota Tangerang, yaitu sekitar 14
kilometer.

Berdasarkan klasifikasi jalan, di Kota
Tangerang terdapat tiga jalan yang berstatus
jalan nasional, yaitu Jalan Merdeka, Jalan
Daan Mogot, dan Jalan Gatot Subroto.
Sedangkan yang berstatus jalan propinsi ada
tujuh, diantaranya adalah Jalan KH. Hasyim
Asyhari, Jalan MH. Thamrin, dan Jalan
Sudirman.

Selama tahun 2010, hampir seluruh
kecamatan di Kota Tangerang mengalami
banjir, kecuali Kecamatan Tangerang,
Neglasari, dan Batuceper. Secara umum,
wilayah Kota Tangerang berada 14 meter di
atas permukaan laut, curah hujan tertinggi
terjadi pada bulan Januari yaitu sebanyak 264
mm. Sedangkan rata-rata kelembaban udara
81,2 persen dan temperatur udara 27,7C.



Geographically, among other
districts, Larangan is the furthest district
from the capital of Tangerang Municipality
that is about 14 kilometres.

Based on road classification, there
are three roads classified as national roads,
those of Jalan Merdeka, Jalan Daan
Mogot and Jalan Gatot Subroto.
While the number of roads classified as
provincial roads was seven, among others
Jalan KH. Hasyim Asyhari, Jalan MH.
Thamrin, and Jalan Sudirman.

In 2010, almost all districts
underwent floods, except District of
Tangerang, Neglasari, and Batuceper.
Generally, Tangerang Municipality is 14
metres above sea level. The maximum
rainfall occurred in January, that of 264
mm. While the average humidity and
temperature were respectively 81,2 percent
and 27,7Celsius.
