Perusahaan dagang melakukan pengendalian persediaan barang yang berguna untuk menjamin persediaan barang

mencukupi permintaan pelanggan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membentuk model persediaan barang dengan
memperbolehkan terjadinya kerusakan barang dan kekurangan barang yang menyebabkan backlogging. Kemudian
diperoleh suatu model untuk menentukan jumlah pemesanan barang yang optimum dengan meminimumkan total
biaya persediaan barang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan menganalisis teori-teori yang
relevan terhadap model yang dibahas. Dari model didapatkan faktor yang mempengaruhi persediaan yaitu: tingkat
permintaan, tingkat kerusakan barang, tingkat backlogging dan waktu kapan persediaan habis.

The control of goods supply by trade enterprise is beneficial to ensure the goods supply so that the
customerss demands are sufficient. The purpose of this research is to form the model of goods supply
by letting the damage of the goods and the deficiency of goods that causes blacklogging. Then, it was
obtained a model to determine the amount of goods ordering which is optimum by minimizing the total
of the expense of goods supply. The method used was descriptive method by analyzing the theories that
are relevant to the disscused model. From the model, it was found that the factors that influence the
supply are the level of demands, the level of goods damage, the level of blacklogging, and the time
when the supplies are used up.
