Pada kuda terdapat konformasi yang buruk.

Di sikap kaki jika dilihat dari atas ke bawah, selain kaki yang
normal dengan bentuk lurus, ada juga bentuk base wide, base narrow, bow legged kaki berbentuk o,
knocklegged kaki berbentuk x, dan dimulai dari fetlock joint terdapat kelainan di bagian digit yaitu sikap
perancis atau toe out dan toe in. Kuda ini mengalami sikap base wide dimana kaki melebar ke luar pada
kaki depannya dan kuku kaki belakang mengalami toe out.

Sudut yang dibentuk oleh os phalanx 1 2 3 kaki depan sebelah kiri tidak lurus, heel kaki kirinya juga lebih
tinggi dari kaki kanan depan sehingga terlihat lebih curam. Kaki belakang juga lebih datar karena heelnya
lebih rendah dilihat karena frog sejajar dengan ladam.

Selain itu dilihat juga kecekungan kuku kuda yang dicek dengan cara meletakan kerikil pada sole. Batu
tersebut dilihat apakah akan melukai kaki kuda atau tidak. Dari pengujian ini diketahui bahwa kuku kaki
belakang lebih cembung.

Angles formed by os phalanx proximal, medial and distal on left leg isn’t straight, the heel on same leg
also higher than right leg that make it looks steeper. Hind legs also flatter because the heels are lower
looked by the frog that is equal with horseshoes.

Furthermore concavity of the hoof also checked by placing a small pebble on the sole. Pebble will be
seen whether it will hurt the horse leg or not. In this case known that hooves on hind legs are more
convex than the fore leg’s hooves.
