PADA IBU MENYUSUI

ABSTRAK

Latar Belakang : Menyusui merupakan aktivitas yang sangat penting bagi ibu
dan bayi. Terjadinya penyulit pada saat proses laktasi tentunya akan sangat
merugikan ibu maupun bayi. Timpulnya penyulit tersebut diakibatkan oleh
beberapa hal yang paling sering muncul adalah puting susu lecet. Berdasarkan
studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan pada 10 orang ibu menyusui di Puskesmas
Gatak, Sukoharjo didapatkan data bahwa 8 orang pernah mengalami puting susu
lecet. Pada dasarnya gangguan ini dapat dicegah dan diatasi sehingga tidak
menimbulkan kesukaran. Hal ini bisa dicegah dengan mengolesi minyak zaitun
ataupun ASI setelah menyusui.
Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui perbedaan kejadian puting susu lecet yang diolesi
minyak zaitun dan yang diolesi ASI pada ibu menyusui di Puskesmas Gatak,
Sukoharjo pada tahun 2018.
Metode : Jenis penelitian menggunakan rancangan Quasi exprerimental design
dengan pendekatan Post test Control Group Design. Populasi adalah semua ibu
menyusui dengan usia bayi 1 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Gatak,
Sukoharjo. Teknik sampelnya adalah Purposive sampling. Instrumen yang
digunakan adalah lembar observasi.
Hasil : Dari 51 ibu menyusui, penggunaan minyak zaitun pada puting susu yang
diolesi minyak zaitun 17 orang (33,3%), diolesi ASI 17 orang (33,3%), dan tidak
diolesi minyak zaitun maupun ASI 17 orang ( 33,3%). Keadaan puting susu ibu
menyusui setelah diolesi minyak zaitun, diolesi ASI dan tidak diolesi minyak
zaitun maupun ASI ada sebayak 27 orang (52,9%) dengan puting susu tidak lecet
dan sebayak 24 orang (47,1%) dengan puting susu lecet
Kesimpulan : Ada perbedaan kejadian puting susu lecet yang diolesi minyak
Zaitun dan yang diolesi ASI pada ibu menyusui di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas
Gatak, Sukoharjo dengan nilai p = 0,001 (p < 0,05).

ON BREASTFEEDING MOTHER

ABSTRACT

Background: Breastfeeding is a very important activity for mothers and babies.

The occurrence of complications during the lactation process will certainly be
very detrimental to the mother and baby. The complication of complications is
caused by some things that most often arise is the nipple blisters. Based on
preliminary study conducted on 10 breastfeeding mothers at Gatak Health Center,
Sukoharjo obtained data that 8 people had experienced blisters. Basically this
disorder can be prevented and resolved so as not to cause difficulties. This can be
prevented by smearing olive oil or breast milk after breastfeeding.
Objective: To find out the difference in the occurrence of scalded nipples
smeared with olive oil and smeared breast milk on breastfeeding mothers at Gatak
Public Health Center, Sukoharjo in 2018.
Method: Type of research using Quasi exprerimental design design with Post
Test Control Group Design approach. The population is all breastfeeding mothers
with 1 month infant age in the working area of Gatak Public Health Center,
Sukoharjo. The sample technique is Purposive sampling. The instrument used is
an observation sheet.
Results: Of 51 breastfeeding mothers, the use of olive oil on nipples smeared with
olive oil 17 people (33.3%), smeared milk 17 people (33.3%), and not smeared
olive oil or milk 17 people (33.3 %). Breastfeeding mother's nipple after olive oil,
smeared milk and not smeared with olive oil or milk as 27 people (52.9%) with
nipple not blisters and sebayak 24 people (47,1%) with nipple blisters.
Conclusion: There is a difference in the occurrence of scalded nipples smeared
with Olive oil and smeared milk in breastfeeding mothers in the Work Area of
Gatak Health Center, Sukoharjo with p value = 0,001 (p <0,05).
