Hubungan Antara Pengetahuan, Self Awareness Dan Persepsi

Dalam Kepatuhan Penggunaan APD (Alat Pelindung Diri) Pada
Petugas Sampah Di TPA Supit Urang Kota Malang

Latar Belakang
Petugas pengumpul sampah merupakan golongan rentan terkena
penyakit atau kecelakaan akibat kerja. Kejadian ini di perparah ketika
seorang pekerja sampah tidak sadar bahwa dirinya sedang berada di
sumber infeksi, maka seorang petugas sampah perlu mengetahui
penyebab infeksi jika tidak menggunakan APD. Tingkat kepatuhan yang
rendah dalam menggunakan APD menunjukan sistem manajemen
keselamatan yang gagal, keterbatasan sarana, rendahnya kesadaran
pekerja terhadap keselamatan kerja. Setiap tahunnya ≥250 juta
kecelakaan di tempat kerja karena perbuatan tidak aman seperti
ketidakpatuhan menggunakan APD.
Metode
Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian korelasional dengan
metode cross-sectional. Sampel yang digunakan adalah petugas sampah
yang langsung mengolah sampah yang berada di TPA Supit Urang Kota
Malang, penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada April 2019. Variabel yang
diamati adalah Pengetahuan, Persepsi, dan Self-Awareness dalam
kepatuhan penggunaan APD. Analisis data Uji Chi Square dengan
signifikan α=0,05.
Hasil
Hubungan antara Pengetahuan, Persepsi, dan Self-Awareness dalam
kepatuhan penggunaan APD diperoleh nilai signifikansi masing-masing
sebesar 0,009, 0,001, 0,002 karena nilai signifikansinya lebih kecil dari
0,05 (0,009, 0,001, 0,002 < 0,05), sehingga terdapat hubungan antara
Pengetahuan, Persepsi, dan Self-Awareness dalam kepatuhan
penggunaan APD (Alat Pelingung Diri). (p = 0,009, 0,001, 0,002, α =
0.05).
Kesimpulan
Terdapat hubungan antara Pengetahuan, Persepsi, dan Self-Awareness
dalam kepatuhan penggunaan APD pada petugas sampah di TPA Supit
Urang Kota Malang.

Relationship Between Knowledge, self Awareness And Perception In

Compliance The use of PPE ( Personal Protective Equipment) On Officer
Waste In Landfill supit Urang Malang City

Background :

Garbage collectors are vulnerable groups exposed to work-related injury

or illness. This incident in aggravated when a garbage worker does not
realize that he was at the source of the infection, then a garbage worker
needs to know the cause of the infection in the absence of protection
from the man himself. A low level of compliance in the use of PPE safety
management system shows that failed, limited facilities, lack of
awareness of workers on safety. Annually, ≥250 million accidents at the
workplace as safe as non-compliance acts using PPE.

Method :

This study uses a correlational research design methods cross-sectional.

The sample used was the officer who directly processes waste bins are
located at the landfill supit Urang Malang, the research was conducted in
April 2019. The observed variables are knowledge, perception, and Self-
Awareness in compliance with the use of PPE. Analysis of the data using
the Test Chi Square with significant α = 0.05.

Result:

The relationship between knowledge, perception, and Self-Awareness in

compliance with the use of PPE. The relationship between knowledge,
perception, and Self-Awareness in compliance with the use of PPE
obtained significance value of each of 0.009, 0.001, 0.002 for a smaller

significance value of 0.05, so that there is a relationship between
knowledge, perception, and Self-Awareness in compliance with the use of
PPE (P = 0.009, 0.001, 0.002, α = 0,05).

Conslusion:

There is a relationship between Knowledge, Perception, and Self-

Awareness in the use of PPE in garbage officers in the TPA Supit Urang
Malang City.
