Lima momen cuci tangan (five moments hand hygiene) merupakan salah satu
upaya pencegahan infeksi yang harus diterapkan oleh perawat di lingkungan kerja.
Kepatuhan perawat dalam menerapkan five moments hand hygiene dipengaruhi oleh
beberapa faktor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi, fasilitas
dan supervisi terhadap kepatuhan perawat dalam menerapkan five moments hand
hygiene. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Cross-
Sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perawat di ruang 17 RSSA
Malang yang berjumlah 20 orang, dimana seluruhnya dijadikan sampel penelitian. Data
dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan Regresi Logistik.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar perawat kurang patuh dalam
menerapkan five moments hand hygiene, yakni sebanyak 11 responden (55%). Hasil
analisis Regresi Logistik menunjukkan p-value pada variabel motivasi, fasilitas dan
supervisi masing-masing adalah 0,044, 0,044 dan 0,041 (< α 0,05). Selain itu, nilai
Exp(B) tertinggi diperoleh pada variabel supervisi (81,015). Dengan demikian, dapat
disimpulkan bahwa motivasi, fasilitas dan supervisi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan
terhadap penerapan five moments hand hygiene di ruang 17 RSSA Malang, dengan
variabel dominan yaitu supervisi. Sehingga, disarankan bagi manajemen rumah sakit
untuk lebih aktif melakukan supervisi. Selain itu, kelengkapan fasilitas serta pelatihan
PPI juga perlu diperhatikan agar perawat semakin termotivasi untuk menerapkan five
moments hand hygiene secara disiplin.

Five moments hand hygiene is a program to prevent infection that must be

implemented by nurses in the work environment. Nurse obedience in implementing the
five moments hand hygiene is influenced by several factors. This study aimed to
analyze the effect of motivation, facilities and supervision on nurse obedience in
implementing the five moments hand hygiene. This research used Quantitative method
with a Cross-Sectional approach. The population were all nurses in room 17 at RSSA
Malang, by the total of 20 respondents, where all of them were used as research sample.
Primary data were collected using questionnaire and then analyzed using Logistic
Regression anlysis. Based on the results, it was found that the majority of nurses were
less obedient in implementing the five moments hand hygiene (11 respondents/55%).
The result of the Logistic Regression analysis demonstrated p-value of motivation
variable, facilities and supervision were 0.044, 0.044 and 0.041 (<α 0.05), respectively.
In addition, the highest value of Exp (B) was obtained from the supervision variable
(81,015). Therefore, it can be concluded that motivation, facilities and supervision had
a significant effect on the implementation of five moments hand hygiene of nurses of
Room 17 at the RSSA Malang, with supervison as the most dominant variable. The
management of the hospital is suggested to be more active in providing the supervison
toward the nurses. In addition, facility and the training for infection prevention and
control are also crucial to be implemented so that the nurses can be more motivated
and disciplined to implement the five moments hand hygiene.
