HUBUNGAN KOMUNIKASI TERAPEUTIK PERAWAT DENGAN

MOTIVASI SEMBUH PADA PASIEN RAWAT INAP DI RUANG
ANGGREK RSUD SUMEDANG TAHUN 2016

ABSTRAK

Banyak persoalan muncul ketika seseorang menderita penyakit tertentu tetapi

tidak memiliki motivasi untuk sembuh terhadap dirinya sendiri. Hambatan ini
terjadi karena kurangnya dukungan dari lingkungan pasien. Kemampuan
komunikasi terapeutik perawat dapat memberikan dukungan dan semangat serta
informasi yang menjadi jalan keluar positif bagi pasien untuk menerima keadaan
yang dialami dan mampu mengadakan perubahan yang dapat meningkatkan
kesehatan pasien.
Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan komunikasi terapeutik
perawat dengan motivasi sembuh pasien rawat inap di ruang Anggrek RSUD
Sumedang. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Adapun subyek
penelitian ini adalah pasien rawat inap di ruang Anggrek RSUD Sumedang
sebanyak 68 responden, dengan cara accidential sampling.
Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunkan kuesioner yang di isi oleh
responden dan juga lembar observasi. Analisis data melalui dua tahapan, yaitu
univariat untuk melihat distribusi frekuensi, dan bivariat untuk melihat hubungan
(chi Square).
Hasil uji statistik menujukan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan yaitu
komunikasi terapeutik perawat dari aspek kesejatian perawat terhadap motivasi
sembuh pada pasien dengan nilai ( P-Value 0,008 < 0,05 ). Empati perawat
terhadap motivasi sembuh pada pasien dengan nilai ( P-Value 0,025 < 0,05).
Respek/hormat perawat terhadap motivasi sembuh pada pasien dengan nilai ( P-
Value 0,005 < 0,05). Dan konkret perawat terhadap motivasi sembuh pada pasien
dengan nilai ( P-Value 0,017 < 0,05).
Disarankan Perawat untuk tetap mempertahankan komunikasi terapeutik yang
sudah terjalin, baik komunikasi terapeutik secara verbal maupun non verbal agar
tetap tercipta hubungan yang benar-benar terapeutik antara perawat dan pasien
sehingga tercipta keterbukaan yang bisa memotivasi pasien untuk segera sembuh
dari penyakitnya.

THERAPEUTIC NURSE COMMUNICATION LINK WITH THE

MOTIVATION TO RECOVER IN HOSPITALIZED PATIENTS IN THE
GENERAL HOSPITAL ORCHIDS SUMEDANG 2016

ABSTRACT

Many problems arise when a person suffers from a particular disease but do not have
the motivation to recover against itself. This bottleneck occurs because of lack of
support from the patient's environment. Therapeutic communication skills nurses can
provide support and encouragement as well as the information becomes a positive
outlet for patients to receive state is experienced and able to make changes that can
improve the health of patients.
The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship of therapeutic
communication nurse with motivation to recover inpatients in hospitals Orchid room
Sumedang. This research is a quantitative research. The subject of this study are in-
patients at hospitals Orchid room Sumedang many as 68 respondents, by way of
accidential sampling.
The data collection is done by using questionnaires filled out by respondents and
observation sheet. Analysis of data through two phases, namely univariate to see the
frequency distribution and bivariate to see the relationship (chi square).
Statistical test results addressed that there is a significant relationship is communication
therapeutic nurse of authenticity aspects of nurses to recover motivation in patients
with grades (P-Value 0.008 <0.05). Empathy nurse to recover motivation in patients with
grades (P-Value 0.025 <0.05). Respect / reverence nurses to recover motivation in
patients with grades (P-Value 0.005 <0.05). And concrete motivation of nurses to heal in
patients with grades (P-Value 0.017 <0.05).
Nurses are advised to maintain therapeutic communication that has been established,
therapeutic communication both verbal and non-verbal it creates a relationship that
really therapeutic between nurses and patients so as to create openness that can
motivate the patient to be cured of his illness .
