Abstract
The background of this research is student self-efficacy to the mathematics study, friendship, and
still there student with poorly mathematics learn outcome. The purpose of this research is to knowing: 1)
the relationship self-efficacy with student mathematics learn outcome; 2) the relationship friend with
student mathematics learn outcome; and 3) the relationship self-efficacy and friend with mathematics
learn outcome of students class VIII MTs Muslimat NU Palangka Raya.
The type of this research is correlation with quantitative approximation, carried out February-May
2019. The population of this research is all students of class VIII MTs Muslimat NU Palangka Raya
school year 2018/2019 as much as 119 students. For sample got of all population. The instruments used
questionnaire and test. Questionnaire using for getting the data of self-efficacy and friend. And test using
for getting the data of mathematics learn outcome. The instrument test carried out on the class VIII MTs
An-Nur Palangka Raya. Outcomes of the instrument test got valid statement for questionnaire self-
efficacy as much as 26 statements got rquestionnaire = 0,93; questionnaire friend as much as 20 statements got
rquestionnaire= 0,88; and mathematics learn outcome as much as 19 got rtest = 0,72.

Based on outcomes statistic analysis test with Chi Square got all data has normal distribution because
< 2 . Based on outcomes hypothesis test could concluded: 1) there has relationship self-efficacy with student mathematics learn outcome got rx1y = 0,58; 2) there has relationship friend with student
