ABSTRAK Baru Revisi (1) Angela
penugasan, sehingga siswa menjadi bosan dalam belajar, dan tidak termotivasi untuk
penerapan metode kooperatif tipe concept sentence dalam menulis teks eksposisi
siswa kelas VIII B SMP Muhammadiyah Kupang Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Teori
yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori belajar perkembangan Kognitif-Jean
metode kooperatif tipe concept sentence sanggat baik dengan persentase 86.36%
dengan siswa yang tuntas berjumlah 19 orang. Sedangkan persentase siswa yang tidak
tuntas adalah 13.63% dengan siswa yang tidak tuntas berjumlah 3 orang.

This research is based on several problems, namely: First, students are not yet
skilled in writing thoughts into a text. Second, teachers still use conventional learning
models that do not support students' writing skills, such as the use of lecture and
assignment methods, so that students become bored in learning, and are not motivated
to take writing lessons. This study aims to describe the application of the cooperative
method of the concept sentence type in writing exposition text for class VIII B
theory used in this research is Jean Piaget's theory of cognitive development. The
